What are some cool stories you might of heard about the band or its members. I remember hearing stories of Dennis Rodman and Eddie Vedder hanging out alot. I also heard that Eddie has a fire pole in his house that goes from a smoke room to a little studio so he can just slide down after he smokes so he won't forget any good ideas he has thought of. What has anyone else heard?

I heard the fire pole goes from their bedroom on the top floor of their house to the studio which is in the basement just so he can get there quick. Anyway I don't believe we should be talking about things like band members' private lives/houses? :?

The fireman’s pole? It’s a long story. Basically, I started smoking dope after a long period of abstinence, and I had an epiphany. I realised the house I was living in had a couple of connected closets. And after having this nice hit, it occurred to me that you could put a fireman’s pole in this house, connecting all four floors. Three months on, we had one installed. It’s really practical! I do all my songwriting in the basement, so if I’m, upstairs, I just slide down. Otherwise you might stop by the laundry room to wash some clothes and you’ll have missed a couple of songs. So it has paid for itself in songwriting royalties.

Have you ever seen Stone Gossard and the sun in the same place at the same time? Think about it....

but seriously, I have no good stories. I love the Stanley Cup one.
I also heard (and don't quote me) on The Ongoing History of New Music with Alan cross that Eddie basically won a puke drinking competition on the 92 Lolla tour.
