What is this garbage?

Seriously. This shit is terrible. It should be illegal it is so ridiculous. Apparently it's called "trance-core." That sounds stupid enough already.

I'm an open minded person, and I try my hardest to be that way in ever aspect of my life... especially when I'm listening to music because I know that there is plenty of excellent music in this world if you just give it a chance.

But this does not deserve a second chance:

Wow. Is this really what's popular these days? Sorry if there is anyone here who actually enjoys this, I'm utilizing my right of opinion and saying that this sucks balls. Majorly. I can't think of anything intelligent to say to describe it really, it's just that bad.

In the words of Henry Rollins:

If my kids came to me and said "Here's some shit I bought at the store" and played this, I would most definitely make them listen to Danzig, Black Sabbath and Slayer really loud while running shit over all night long and say "now that's partying you little prick!"

I don't think it's THAT popular, or that you and I (I think it's garbage too) are in the minority. The video has 949 likes to 7,932 dislikes.

Didn't notice that, but you've got a great point. It's most likely not entirely popular. What is sad is that this is the youth craze.

I know I was into some dumb shit when I was younger, but this is just ridiculous.

I get the feeling that the drummer is the only one in that "band" who actually knows how to play an instrument. I hope there are some young bands coming up that are better than this. My prediction for the total collapse of music as we know it, thanks to more kids playing Guitar Hero than actual guitars, wasn't for another 5 years.

i dont listen to any of this kind of stuff but i will admit it is popular in certain groups of people.....mostly younger teens that are into LSD and like going on trips. They generally have parties out in the bush in the middle of nowhere with stuff like this playing.

Really? Seems a little harsh for LSD listening.

Well hardcore has a pretty solid underground following, but TRANCE CORE? That is the most awful crap I've ever heard in my life!

Wow. Goes to show there's a market for everything. That is alternatively annoying (the autotuned breakdown parts) and abrasive (the burping cookie monster parts). Just terrible.
It is time to admit that we used to rock like hurricanes. It is time to run for the hills and go round and round. It is time for us to shout at the devil. We've got the right to choose it, there ain't no way we'll lose it, and we're not gonna take it anymore.

I think they should call it "Twilight-Core".
"You're no help," he told the lime. This was unfair. It was only a lime; there was nothing special about it at all. It was doing the best it could.

At least that genre labeling would be honest. I can respect honesty.

Wow.. I couldn't get through 2 minutes of that crap. The only thing I found remotely pleasant was his/her green guitar strings.

I tried too. There is nothing of worth in it. Nothing, I say.

Careful...nothing worse than being the grumpy old guy. Just seems like an outgrowth of screamo; don't think it's particularly popular or anything to get worked up over.

Yeah man, you're right. That's shit. As with just about everything else that has the word "core" involved in it's genre description.
