Hard to be angry at the Yankees for living by the home run when they hit four of them!

    Eight-run seventh inning, nice!

A-Rod had four hits, his average is now up to .284.

Jeter is twenty-five hits away from 3,000.

Good time today, that 7th was the loudest I have heard the stadium this year. Always good ball busting with these two teams. Those mets fans were loud early and shut up pretty quickly.

Good times. Only gripe, I can't even begin to tell you how much I hate the bunting with one if the better hitters in baseball so far this year.

    yea good inning

as for the bunt..giradi has to learn the timing better overall....although today you're moving the winning run to 3rd...not to mention you know tex is gonna get walked and bring up a hot arod....who would think a ball that went 7 ft from home plate would be the winning rbi

should be a homer fest w/ the bluejays in town ...its good not to have the deal with halliday every other week

I hear you on the bunt, I just hate it with a hitter like granderson up. Oh well, turned out well, so I can't really complain.

Arods hit was funny. They showed him on the screen laughing about it when he was at 1st.

Good win and back tied for first

It should be an easy series win for the yanks. Game one starter for the Blue Jays is coming out of the pen and game three is Jo-Jo hasn't won a game in 28 starts Reyes. Although Carlos Villanueva has been fantastic in long relief this year, I just don't think he can be stretched out to five plus innings.

You can also expect a lot of stolen bases. Rajai Davis ran all over the place and the Jays are third in the AL with 46 stolen bases and that includes Bautista who has swiped five out of six bases.

Do you guys think it would be a good strategy to intentionally walk Bautista? The guy is as dangerous at the plate as anyone I've seen in a while.

I don't see why more teams don't do this. With Lind on the DL there isn't anyone to offer him protection in the four hole.
