If that does not exemplify character I do not know what does. We are truly not just not a '10 Club Number' to these people, but fans they are invested in and committed to. I may have lost incredible seats but may have gained a deeper awareness of our fortunes to be rabid about a band with management integrity. So in conclusion, good luck to everyone tomorrow (including me) and lets get back to the excitement and captivation this festival is going to bring. Thanks again Tim.

Pretty nice of Tim to call you considering the way you were bashing him in the other thread and accusing the 10 Club of screwing you over.

How about an apology for all that nonsense you were spewing in the other thread?

i still feel this should have been known by both parties and retract nothing I said.

Sawyer, I'm sorry that you lost amazing seats but I think in the end you're gonna win the lottery and hit row 1 or 2.

Now that wouldn't be so "random" or "lottery" then would it if it did happen. Others in same situation just may not have been as vocal. ;)

It's not like he missed out on presale or anything. Then it would be a different story...

Come to think of it, is this really that big of a deal? I assume money was refunded, again no presale was missed, back in the same boat as everyone else. This lasted for what, a whole entire day or two?

So what did Tim say when you brought up this gem from one of your posts in the other thread?

That is really fucking cool Tim is the bomb.

You should definitely "WIN" the lottery for 1st or 2nd row, or 9th or 10th. Hey look at it this way, at least you saved yourself $900 or whatever it was, and now you don't have to go a Buffett concert either. ;)

    Tim is awesome.

And that's why I hope he doesn't reward this guy's belly achin and temper tantrum with lottery seats. Nobody tried to screw him. The dude working for LiveNation that probably makes $7 an hour made a mistake and the 10 club caught it and put a stop to it.

I get that Sawyer is bummed that he lost out on the seats, but nobody intentionally screwed him and he's not out any money. I don't see what all the crying is about. Get over it. Its a concert for crying out loud. He's acting like he has a fatal disease and his insurance company is refusing to cover his medical treatment.

Exactly. Why should he get lottery tickets over the loyal fan that keeps to himself, is respectful, and doesn't have the $900 to spend on concert tickets? Plus I get the impression he has a good member number. Not that Sawyer is a bad guy by any means for having the means or money or member number to do that, but keep it a lottery.
The lottery is so everyone has a chance, not consolation prize or sympathy gift.

Don't reward someone for someone else's mistake that DID NOT cause any problems or make him miss out on the presale. It was caught in time.

I'm glad the issue that you had with Live Nation was cleared up for you by Tim and the 10C.

Good luck scoring tickets tomorrow to you and everyone else hunting. I will be watching to see how it goes and anticipate what I will be working with on Tuesday when I try for my tickets.

    Cheers,

The brevity of these sentences and the fact that it was about "Sawyer" made me read it like the narrator for "Lost" does in the synopses at the beginning of each season's DVDs  If you haven't seen them, then this will make no sense...but they're hilarious nonetheless :P
