what makes you think Live Nation gave 10C all the seats? I highly doubt that, especially seeming how Tim says in his post that you will be seated behind the 10C seats...

Live nation gives 10C the tickets. Not like "contractually" gives, I mean they physically issue them the tickets. So when they printed out 10C's tickets, they just would have bumped their seats back another row to accommodate tickets that they had sold, done and done!

I can't understand why you expect 10C to rectify this. You purposely tried to go around their ticketing philosophy by making this purchase with live nation. You essentially flipped them the bird and said, "Fuck your policies I will not sit on the lawn and share the seats with my fellow 10 clubbers."

Why the fuck should they help you at all?

This is a little harsh, no? There will be plenty of avenues to purchase tickets outside of being in the Ten Club, and he thought he found one. I agree that it doesn't seem the Ten Club erred, but it's unfair to intimate he's thumbing his nose at anyone. Anyone who thought they were getting awesome seats and has that much money tied up in them would be really frustrated right now.

When I started reading this thread on was on your side Sawyer, however your attitude is bewildering, and it has turned me against you.

Like I said, provided you keep your kool when you're talking to live nation, you're probably going to wind up with the best seats in the house.

However, you expecting 10C to rectify this situation is beyond me. Like I said, you deliberately tried to go around them to get the best seats in the house for both nights. They didn't screw you here, Live Nation did.

You know why I'm not going to Alpine Valley? Cause I don't want to travel 1000 miles to get lawn tickets. I didn't screw around with back doors trying to secure my tickets, I just said screw it, I'll go to Toronto (and Ottawa and Hamilton)... but hey... it's your plane, fly it how you like.

Personally, I would keep the outcome to myself and not broadcast it on the board - whichever way it goes.

I think the band should just cancel the whole damn "festival".
