would I have shown up at the venue and a 10 club member and and I would have had the same seats? Good planning guys.

I gaurentee you that this is going to work out very well for Sawyer...

I know he's freaking about right now, but if he elevates this through the proper channels and controls his anger, he'll wind up with the best seats in the house as a result of this clusterfuck.

Live nation isn't going to fuck him, and if they can't get his seats, I am willing to bet they will replace them with something better.

They already get enough bad press from a lot of people with they're shady ticket practices like this, they will make sure that everything works out for this guy, mark my words.

So how much did you pay for these seats that you thought were gonna be 6th row but now have been changed to behind the tenclub seats?

I think that used to be true... I think we went from one extreme to the other... it went from being a $5/year mom and pop organization to a $40/year business machine.

I hope it works out for you - I wanted so badly to call after you posted but my wife would have killed me before I had the chance to use them.

Although it is funny that you probably would have gotten away with this if you didn't come on the forums bragging about it. I'm betting that 10C dropped the ball and started trying to do something about it after they saw your post.

There will be at least 5 rows of tickets on the front, dead center of the venue that will not go to the 10C.

And I'm willing to bet that about 1/2 of these season ticket holders are prefessional scalpers (or will become 1 once they realize how much their $300 (original price) tickets are now worth).

300 each seems to be the answer. 3 tickets to 3 shows for a total of 2700.

maybe he bought tickets that were in the 6th row of available tickets, ie the last row.

but hey, they aren't the lawn

I dont think they give all of the seats to season tickets... I think they probably just have scattered pairs or chunks they take. So I bet there will be some in the first 5 rows that will not be TC, but I dont think it will be the overwhelming amount of those seats.

We'll see though... LN/TM are greedy bastards, so who knows. They probably sell as many as they are allowed to and then a few more.

I am going to control my rage right now. Everything is in writing. I have the CEO of LiveNation's e mail address. I have this poor reps name that I worked with and all of his 'guarantees' about tickets being secured. I think this could work out favorably in the long run. However, it is beyond me that I basically did the legwork for 10 Club to figure this out.....you're welcome.

Sawyer is getting screwed on this deal.
He was kind enough to post the link for anyone else who wanted to dole out the $$$ for a chance at better tix, which was pretty cool of him, if it were to be true.
Season tix holders often DO have seats that 10C can't secure, but hopefully he gets his $$$ back, not seats that are in a different location from what he was promised at the time of purchase.

That's what I would think (if, as you say, anger is controlled and words are carefully chosen - including the 'buzz words'). Livenation are the promoters, and there are always 'those' seats that no-one ever seems able to get.

That's how it is at all of these amphitheaters. these suits come in, talk throughout the show, wait for the band to play Better Man and then leave. EV actually called them out on it in Indy 2003:
