  • Congrats...but begs the question. If VIP has seats that close...where the heck will 10C reserved seats that aren't lottery going to be??

I hope this isn't going to be like DTE Centre in Detrot where all the fanclub is at the back and subscribers/VIP at the front.

WOW....we have some easily jealous members...yikes....a few things:

this guy got pummeled with calls today 8-) He had a looonnnng Friday I'm sure. This deal is much better than the 10 Club option because for this gig it is obvious 10 Club does not have the best seats. I am sure management is not thrilled with this LN deal or the fact that it is getting a lot of play on the Pit. However, you will go to Alpine knowing two things if you score tickets Monday:

a.) I am on the lawn for a show

b.) I am in the pavilion for a show and will not know where until that day

.....I'm not playing Russian Roulette with these gigs...I know seats are still available from Livenation

Wow, so (I clicked the link and think I understand what's going on) Alpine is selling tickets that would usually be Fan Club seats (6th row?? Every other PJ show there is a ten club member sitting in 6th row) for $300 each? Seems like a rip, and I'm surprised Ten Club let Alpine do that (or didn't hold it somewhere else).

PLUS the VIP boxes start in row 14 there??! Good luck to anyone sitting anywhere near those boxes... which will probably be most of the Ten Club members OR the $300 VIP buyers... I don't know if you've ever sat in front or behind a VIP box, those people don't give 2 shits about the concert going on. They just want their waitress to come over and bring them more booze. Then they'll yell at the top of the lungs to their friends and have complete conversations about how they're moving or hate their job or whatever at full volume, probably during a quiet song like Parachutes, like they were in a noisy bar rather than at what's supposed to be one of the most important Pearl Jam concerts ever.

    Like I said, good luck.

If these are season tickets then the seats are held back by the venue for every single show. I don't think there is anything 10C could have done to stop that.

Right, I don't think they could have done anything either, except to have it somewhere else where 6th row seats go to the Ten Club. Think about it, which PJ shows have you been to where sitting next to you in the first however many rows is someone who is NOT in the fan club? Never happened to me before. I know people have said the "lottery" rows are sometimes a little shady/friends of the band/etc... but they're not season tickets holders in the front 5 rows.
    It happens quite frequently.
Most of these amphitheaters have some sort of season ticket program and these people get their seats for all shows. At the Dodge Music Ctr in Hartford, it appeared to me that every other row in the front few rows was season tix and the others were 10club. I spoke to the folks in front of and behind me and they were not 10clubbers, those alongside were. Its part of the way things are. Now its possible rows 1-5 could be 10club seats and the VIP/Seasons at AV start at row 6, who knows...we'll see in September.

Sawyer take some good pictures and enjoy.

    couple of quick questions:

do you haave to call a representative, or can be looked over/purchased online?

    Are these still available ?

Does your 3rd show ( Buffet ) have to also be at The Alpine ?

    Thanks

i talked to them... they have $250 tickets and $300 tickets. he mentioned row V through row CC are left. all the boxes are sold out and were like 7500 lol. these are just two other shows. i'm going to view them as a chance to actually go and chill instead of worrying about being really close... it's going to be tough without a lot of luck and a lot of money so... hoping for 10C 1 res/1 lawn package. if not, public onsale single seat and lawn the other night most likely. people will be giving lawn seats away the day of the show i guarantee that.

Not really. At first it sounded like he paid $900 for the ticket, but it's only $250 and packaged other shows and that isn't outrageous at all.

Hey if anyone can afford $900 for a ticket, God bless them, but honestly I don't think any one show has ever been worth $900.

Why would I be jealous? That's lunacy.

honestly if this were in or around my home town, i could see myself spending this much and selling off the other show they force you to buy. not doing this for wisconsin though. not with airfare and lodging and transportation, and with barely any of my friends down for it.

also, i would never describe myself as "glowing"....because i'm not a pregnant chick, of course.

but good luck and god speed to all.

I don't think the guy is bragging - just excited like anyone in his position would be. Someone's going to end up buying those tickets - at least its someone from the 10 club who will be rocking out and not some pseudo-fan with a big bankroll who's there just to hear evenflow.

You are actually buying from a third party (tix in time). They guarantee delivery or your money back. Anyone know about them?

    Alpine Valley Season Tickets Miscommunication
I'm not really familiar with this "work around" that some fans are taking to get better tickets for the Pearl Jam Weekend Destination, but it seems important to pass on this message from Ten Club Manager, Tim Bierman, before the pre-sale begins.

In regards to postings about buying season ticket packages in order to secure incredible seats for PJ20, there has been a mix-up in the Live Nation ticket office. Those who purchased these packages and were offered box seats as close as the 6th row, WILL NOT BE receiving those promised seat locations. All NEW season ticket package purchasers will be re-located BEHIND the Ten Club seats.

Please keep in mind that Alpine Valley does have a number of existing season ticket holders who have priority options to purchase those tickets. The Ten Club respectfully acknowledges these pre-existing ticket holders and their right to purchase their tickets. Some of these tickets may be located in front of Ten Club allocated tickets.
Live Nation and their ticket office have been very helpful in securing as many tickets as possible for The Ten Club. Their representatives feel horrible about this miscommunication and they apologize for any misunderstanding.
    Thanks, Tim
