    Well, I finally got King of Limbs ... I was afraid of it after reading some of the posts in this thread. After one listin, my reaction is ... .... whaaaaa??? This is the post In Rainbows album?

    I'll give it some more time but my first thought is that Radiohead is fucking with us. Amnesiac / Kid A, this is not.

    This album hasn't really held up for me. I was in the camp that liked it right off the bat and stuck up for it, but over time it's gotten stale.

    The only tracks that are really listenable and worthy are Feral, Lotus Flower and Separator. (#s 4, 5, 8.) But that's about it. And even Feral is pushing it. So 2 or 3 good songs does not make a good record, even if there's only 8 songs on it. Having only 8 songs on it kinda hurts too in this case.

    oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

    Still a great album. And the remixes and eventual tour will just make it all better.

    Actually - the album sucks and so does their live show so everyone should not buy tix to their next NYC show(s) :lol:.

    I love the basement stuff. And I have the first 8 songs from the remix album, which will make up the first side. The first song is probably the best remix I ever heard.

    I haven't watched the whole Basement show. Is it really that good? I started and Little by Little sounded like a bad Radiohead cover band playing it and it really turned me off of it. That was one of the songs on the album that I thought was ok and they just butchered it.

    Honestly...Little By Little is the hardest one to swallow from The Basement recordings IMO. They had to change it up in order to play it live. After a few listens, i'm ok with it and it doesnt sound so far off to me anymore. Its really the only song that sounds way different live. The addition of the Phil Selway look alike electronic drummer is what they needed to do to pull it off live, and it works well. The Daily Mail is killer and would have been the best song on the album, had it made the cut. I just think some people need to watch it to realize that Johnny is actually doing something back there.
