I'm not trying to start rumors. I have no first hand knowledge. All I am saying is that my boss at the orpheum said that there are some big things coming up for the fall. he could not tell me what that meant. But interesting all the same......I will hope for some sort of small special Boston show. So maybe not 9-9 but I have heard other rumblings that there is something buzzing in October in the Boston area.
While I find this highly unlikely, I will keep my fingers crossed. Besides PillowPants, you've been around here long enough to know that they never stop in Boston without hitting NYC, Philly/Camden, or Hartford in the same tour.
2004.
Ah yes, how could I have forgotten. Night 2 in 2004 was my first PJ show. *smacks forehead*

does he know you're a huge PJ fan?
i don't see october working for PJ but maybe this is the johnny dangerously grapevine we're all connected to?
I highly doubt this will happen. I live near Boston and believe me I would love for them to play in Boston this year but it ain't happening...this is nothing more than a figment of Pillow Pants' imagination.
why don't you go report on what you heard on wikileaks.com
I really hope that this happens - I need a PJ fix in 2011!

except for 2004
Except they did come to NY and did Masters of War on Letterman the day after the Boston shows, and headed to Reading which is in PA although not Philly or Camden.
not to mention the whole "only U.S. date" part of the WRITTEN announcement has mysteriously disapeared
I know that I am grasping at straws here, but that is a really great catch! Why would they go to the trouble of changing the verbiage and take out "only U.S. date" from the announcement???
n celebration of the band's twenty-year anniversary, Pearl Jam will host and headline a Labor Day weekend concert celebration at Alpine Valley Music Theatre in East Troy, WI, followed by a ten-date Canadian tour.
...they never stop in Boston without hitting NYC, Philly/Camden, or Hartford in the same tour...
Well, except for that time in 2004 when they played Boston twice and only bothered w/ NYC for Letterman.

Never seen Back Seat Lover, but they'd be too loud for Joco's for sure. It's a tiny little place. I actually live in Needham now so I can't just stumble home from Moody St. anymore....those were the days.
if all pj fans would come from mass, nh,vermont, maine, new brunswick, pei etc
lets get a 2nd montreal show at bell center! and any americans that love good weed, will have good smoke for pj show, from what i knw pj loves montreal, even though maybe nobody of them smoke weed no more, the crowd in montreal is always real good, and no dick fuck security idiots bothering no one
