While I find this highly unlikely, I will keep my fingers crossed. Besides PillowPants, you've been around here long enough to know that they never stop in Boston without hitting NYC, Philly/Camden, or Hartford in the same tour.

    except for 2004

Except they did come to NY and did Masters of War on Letterman the day after the Boston shows, and headed to Reading which is in PA although not Philly or Camden.

I'm going to buy into this 100% for the sole reason that Pillow Pants is a fantastic screen name.

plus my buddy owns Joco's on Moody St

go in and tell him you know his pearl jam freak friend

although probably won't get you anywhere ;)

I know Joco's. Good little place. One of the only places that books listen-able bands on Moody St.

  • I just booked my hotel and bought an extra travel toothbrush.

Pffff! Yeah! You expect me to believe you own a toothbrush?!!

    Gum??
  • not to mention the whole "only U.S. date" part of the WRITTEN announcement has mysteriously disapeared

I know that I am grasping at straws here, but that is a really great catch! Why would they go to the trouble of changing the verbiage and take out "only U.S. date" from the announcement???

n celebration of the band's twenty-year anniversary, Pearl Jam will host and headline a Labor Day weekend concert celebration at Alpine Valley Music Theatre in East Troy, WI, followed by a ten-date Canadian tour.

Last, Pillow Pants, how good is your source?

Never seen Back Seat Lover, but they'd be too loud for Joco's for sure. It's a tiny little place. I actually live in Needham now so I can't just stumble home from Moody St. anymore....those were the days.
