First time Ten Club ticket buyer here (...hopefully... and I also work a job that can involve a lot of work outdoors in remote areas.. hoping to be in the office on Tuesday though) ... Can anyone tell me what the pricing I can generally expect for the Canadian Ten Club tickets? I'm hopefully planning on going to three shows and am hoping to absorb the sticker shock over the next week rather than when I click the final submit on the 24th, haha
Not sure if this link is accurate but it's saying tickets will be $69.50, plus service charges. It also says that Mudhoney IS opening the Canadian dates. If this is true, that shall be awesome.

Both Toronto @ once? Whoa mama!!!
This has got to be some kind of fucking joke.... right? 10C?
Both Toronto shows and Montreal at the same time? I thought you said you wanted to help reduce traffic?? You really think that Winnipeg/Saskatoon/Hamiliton will have the same draw as Montreal/Toronto/Toronto??? Are you nuts???? With all the east coasters who won't travel to Alpine shooting for these 3 shows, you really think the demand won't be insane for Toronto/MTL??
Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.

I know.... that's the problem. Until that stops happening the band will continue to be poorly mismanaged.... and that won't stop happening... so, I won't hold my breath...
Just getting very frustrated with PJ's tour management, I mean it doesn't take much common sense to realize that the Toronto/Toronto/MTL dates are the ones that really need to be staggered.... the rest don't matter near as much... and to put all the ones with the least demand together... well...
I also don't understand how they have "time restraints" and need to put all the shows on sale so quickly.. I mean there's more than 3 months before these shows... last year didn't the PJ northeast shows get announced in March for shows in May? And they were significantly more spaced out...
More US date will be coming, I can feel it in me bones 2011 will be a Pearl Jam Party Year.
I believe you, and this also turns my guts a little bit... because they're trying to sell all these tickets to this massively over priced festival in the middle of no where.... and they're going to hold off on anything else until this sells out.... I would have went to the gorge, but now I'm making all my plans for Canada, and when the gorge happens I'm going to be SOL....
anyway, enough bitching. sorry for my rant.

The 10C knows what they're doing. The servers will be able to handle the load and just like the 10C ticketing for the Alpine Valley shows, I think this was done to balance the fans so that they have more people going for 2 shows in one location so there will be a greater chance for a higher number of folks to get good seats...if you catch my logic.
Just like in Alpine Valley, there's no option to get reserved seating for BOTH nights...they want the greatest number of people to experience the show from a closer seat.
:?: Can more than one pair of tickets be purchased :?: I really want to take my brother and niece :!:
I would suggest you buy your pair. And then see if you can find some people to switch around with once you get to the venue. There are lots of people that have spares and many of us will scooch over to make room for one more in the row. I dont think you would have any problems securing another ticket long before the concert date. Am I making sense?

Or if you're going for the lawn then problem solved. Get your pair and just have the one other person buy their ticket through Ticketmaster.

What if I don't get tickets on monday? If someone really wants to go but gets shut out of 10club seats, is it possible they get shut out entirely and have to stay home? Or will the unlucky ones have to come off a mortgage payment?
has someone done the math? Are the travel packages worth it?
I am doing some math and something must be wrong.
$1800
-tickets $334
- Shuttle $120
- Expo $100
- buffet (say $100)
$382/night for lodging?
I was coming up with the same math. While it may be a package it isn't really a deal...
I think the X factor is that there really aren't that many places to stay in the area. Most seemed booked months ago. I've only dealt with the 10C package-wise for Philly '09 and we stayed super cheap in a very nice place.
just read the news about sales time..so if we try seperate, means that will be impossible to score in both Toronto shows.. :(

Will the venue be set up with the GA pit or without?
I just sent them an email asking this. Fingers crossed it'll be with, pretty much a deal-breaker for me. I'll update when I'll get an answer.
Update: Quick, but dissapointing reply. The GA tickets are on the lawn, way in the back.
Count me out.. I think..
This made me a bit nervous. Me and my brother have pretty much decided to try and get tickets and travel from Norway, but not if we have to stand miles away from the stage?
How does that work? Any pictures on google that shows how the view is from there?

I have personally attended shows at Alpine Valley from the lawn before and I would say that the view really isn't band. Because the ampitheater is set on a hillside your view angle is MUCH BETTER then being out in a huge field like at Lollapalloza in Chicago or your average big European or US music festival. Besides that they have some huge jumbotron displays on either side of the stage so you can see what the hell is going on.
I also get the impression from the pj20.com website that the "10C viewing area" is going to amount to them taking the front area of the lawn section and fencing it off and not opening it until PJ goes on stage. meaning that you might actually be able to wonder around all day and check out other bands etc. and not worry about defending your 4 ft. square turf for 8 hours without getting up to take a piss or get something to eat. While I'm sure there will be a large crowd surrounding that entrance for it on the lawn waiting to get in, I doubt it it will mean that anyone with a 10C wristband will be watching PJ from over the top of the berm.
And of course I would say that like any show, it's the experience of being there that counts, not how close you get.
I won't change direction, and I won't change my mind - E.V.

This is good news. Otherwise we would have 30,000 PJ fans who would target the pit for their GA ticket.
And they already said the Ten Club lawn seats would be in the front of the lawn. And roped off until PJ hits the stage.
What I wonder is if they are going to be able to sell an unlimited number of GA lawn during the 10C pre-sale, so no one gets shut out.
"The Who is my life. Pearl Jam is my retirement"
Certainly isn't for me, but then again I'm used to the European way of doing things, which is pretty much every man for themselves.
I really miss a seating chart for this event, tho, I'm having a bit of a hard time figuring out exactly where those GA tickets will be.
