If it looks as good as Imagine in Cornice upscaled on my PS3 I probably wouldn't complain about it not being released on blu ray. I would definitely prefer one of those triple combo packs with the Blu ray, DVD and digital download
Cameron Crowe just weeks ago released the Almost Famous Bootleg Edition film on Bluray in Jan. Gotta pick that up for Easter. Anyway's, his films will be getting the Bluray treatment. Crossing fingers next will be Singles that will be released. I did download an HDTV copy of that film months ago @ 1080i. Pearl Jam Twenty which will be released by Universal? will go all out & get this baby released on Bluray.
I picked that up the first day it was released. Havent gotten around to viewing it yet. Excellent film.
And so you see, I have come to doubt All that I once held as true I stand alone without beliefs The only truth I know is you.
I picked up the Almost Famous disk on Blu as well. My only dissapointment is that they just released the "Untitled" extended version and not the theatrical release.
My guess (and its purely a guess) is that Water on the Road is only released on DVD. But Twenty, coming from an established filmmaker, will get a DVD & Blu-ray release.

I'd say chances are not too good that this will be on blu-ray, at least not right away. Death Cab for Cutie started pre-orders for their new concert dvd today and there's no blu-ray option. I'm pretty sure it was also shot and released via Trixie, too.

If "Twenty isn't on blu-ray, I will be sooooooo disappointed. I agree with you though, I can't see a release like that not offered.

I contacted the solo dvd makers and yes we are getting blu ray and yes it will be in full 1080p glory with a 5.1 mix. We will finally have blu ray jam. Now where is the damn pre-order

Ok, that is what I thought. When I clicked the link it said 60 minutes and that he was the director, so thought maybe it was something else.
Blu Ray Concert, wooohooo!

There was lots of road, and water was all over it. Eddie attempted to clean it up, but alas... too much water on the road. A woman must have gone into labor while hitchhiking or something! Someone... bring a mop!
