Immortality would be a cracker! As well as Release. But id have to settle on Off he Goes. I never get bored of that song so id have to take it to my grave0

for my death, it would have to be Master of Puppets... for my wake, any PJ song...Ed: 2011-07-09 2012-11-04

Where did you sleep last night-Nirvana unplugged0

It would have to be "The End". There is a live version at which show i dont recall, but it was followed by "Just Breathe". I had never heard The End live, but it was just Ed, Boom, and a violinist. It was simply the most beautiful song I have ever heard him sing. I could rest in peace after hearing it, for sure.0

"Five minutes of silense" by John Lennon from the "Life with the Lions" LP.....and a clod beer in my hand to enjoy while I wait.

It would have to be "The Great Gig In the Sky" by Pink Floyd, I don't know, I have always been struck by this song when I was a teen. It is a good song to go out on ya know.
Wow, what an appropriate choice. :thumbup:0 -

Let It Be - The Beatles
The songs got me through a few tough times in life...hopefully it helps in death too.Note to self: Don't die0 -
Guaranteed.... from the first time I heard it.
The last two verses are beautiful.
On bended knee is no way to be free
lifting up an empty cup I ask silently
that all my destinations will accept the one that's me
so I can breath
Circles they grow and they swallow people whole
half their lives they say goodnight to wive's they'll never know
got a mind full of questions and a teacher in my soul
so it goes...
Don't come closer or I'll have to go
Holding me like gravity are places that pull
If ever there was someone to keep me at home
It would be you...
Everyone I come across in cages they bought
they think of me and my wandering
but I'm never what they thought
got my indignation but I'm pure in all my thoughts
I'm alive...
Wind in my hair, I feel part of everywhere
underneath my being is a road that disappeared
late at night I hear the trees
they're singing with the dead
overhead...
Leave it to me as I find a way to be
consider me a satelite for ever orbiting
I knew all the rules but the rules did not know me
guaranteed..."Hey Cliff... While We're young!"0 -

so I'm gonna stick with that instinct.
Seriously, how could 'Release'
NOT leap to the front of the queue
when you read this question?
Cheers.'Cause you don't give blood and take it back again.0 -
Again I'll say
LONG NIGHTS!
Please in St Louis
Have no fear
For when I'm alone
I'll be better off than I was before
I've got this life
I'll be around to grow
Who I was before
I cannot recall
Long nights allow me to feel
I'm falling
I am falling
The lights go out
Let me feel
T'm falling
I am falling safely to the ground
Ah...
I'll take this soul that's inside me now
Like a brand new friend
I'll forever know
I've got this light
And the will to show
I will always be better than before
Long nights allow me to feel
I'm falling
I am falling
The lights go out
Let me feel
I'm falling
I am falling safely to the ground
Ah..
