The Kills are great...Fell in love with Mosshart at ACL 2009 right before PJ.Blame it all on chemical intercourse...

Agreed. These guys are excellent. Saw them several years ago and have been hooked ever since. If you haven't heard their older stuff, grab it. It's all good, especially "Keep On Your Mean Side". Alison Mosshart is a force on stage.0

the album is great. My favorites right now are "DNA" and "Damned If She Do". I can't wait to see them this month on the 29 at Terminal 5!0

Not to rain on the parade, but now that I've listened to this a few times, I'm a little disappointed. It's still a good album but it's nowhere near "Keep On The Mean Side" and I still probably prefer "Midnight Boom". "Pots and Pans is a fantastic song though. Highlight of the whole album.0

Fantastic album start to finish......Anyone catch the current tour yet? Hitting the show at the Vic in Chicago next week.0

Decided to see them in philly last night. Although one of the reasons i went was to see one of the opening acts, Moon Duo. I wasn't too familiar with them, other than Allison was in The Dead Weather. Didn't own any of their albums and only had a handful of songs of theirs on my ipod. It was fun and enjoyable, they played for about an hour and a half.8/28/98- Camden, NJ

We are pleased to announce our 5th record 'Ash & Ice' will be released June 3rd. Not long now! Thank you for your patience while we perfected our craft, sharpened our teeth and made the journey from first note to last. Please check out our first single, 'Doing It To Death'. Surely you can relate?! How about a chorus line of Lincoln Continentals rolling through a graveyard in the blistering sun, weaving through palm trees and dancing dudes? Of course!
Happy listening, happy watching, and see you on the road soon.

One of those unforgettable happenstance situations: Was probably '98 or something, and that famous college music seminar was in NYC (totally forgetting the name of it). I ran into some aquaintances, jaded music biz folks who went to shows because it was work and they had work to do, not much out of passion. I knew they weren't excited about shows but I still asked them "Is there anyone I should see?" Suddenly one of them, her eyes came alive, and she literally held me by my shoulders and put her face in my face and said "You MUST go to Hoboken RIGHT NOW and see a band called The Kills at Maxwells. DO NOT MISS THEM! THEY ARE PHENOMENAL!" I knew how rare it was for this person to care or be excited, so I jumped on a train and the Path and went to Maxwells. Hardly anyone had heard of them, there were probably about 40 people in the audience. Holy crap! They were frickin' unbelievable!
Interested to see/hear what they're up to now. I think I already missed a show near me recently, but I'll check their schedule and see. Thanks for the reminder and the video!0 -
