I got one during the Last Chance!! Super psyched. Man was I nervous. Highly doubt it was signed by Ed. First off, Ed thought up the idea, he didn't draw it or write the words. I know he's thought of ideas before on many tour posters that ultimately weren't signed. Second, between traveling to Oz and coming home to his fam, I doubt he'll have the time to fly out to emek just to sign some prints. Then again what do I know. I'm just stoked to own this print. Now I only wonder if I was lucky enough to get a foil variant!!!
I'm nervous all the time trying to score any print that uses PayPal. When the pop up PayPal button came up it took so long. Then I had to find Canada, then Canada/Nova Scotia. More clicks. More loading. Then sign into my PayPal account. These are way tougher then CC sales.
+1 here, first Emek sale I've had any luck with lately.
I hope this is signed by EV but I'm not holding my breath.
Was lucky enough to get both Bridge School and EV Chicago prints signed by Vedder so no sweat if this one isn't signed.
The Bridge School Vedder signature is a lot stronger than the EV Chicago but usually sells for less, anyone know why... that's just my opinion but every EV signed Chicago print is a real light pencil EV autograph and the Bridge School auto's are really bold. For the money I'd rather go with the Bridge School auto.

Wait a second. Foil variant?

Emek e-mailed me...edition of 150, Ed did NOT sign any of his copies and he is hoping the artist can print off a few more foil variants as the one that sold on Ebay was the test print

I think it has more to do with the fact that the Chicago one's art was drawn and designed by Ed. On the BSB, Ed just did the lettering, not the artwork. Also I think more people consider the Chicago as more to their liking in terms of "art". I actually grew to love the BSB so much more after hearing Brad Klausen talk about it and give his perspective of why he designed it the way he did. Someday after all these tours are over I'm gonna buck up and buy a signed one offa ebay. I actually wish Ed didn't sign that one, it'd make getting a BK signed one so much cheaper

Why did he design it the way he did? I'm interested to know, thanks!

Well I'm certainly doing BK no justice whatsoever but I'll summarize. The basic idea was that the kids have so many problems, but the music has a way of reaching deep into the heart and connecting everyone. The figure represents the soul being lifted, or something to that effect. Again, Brad talked eloquently for a few minutes about it and hearing him convey the passion behind the print is what made me really start to appreciate it. I certainly can do no justice, but it was pretty inspiring.

im kinda in agreeance with some of the comments ive read. print job just doesnt look very sharp. the clouds are very unimpressive in person :( guess its the technique used to get the fade but it leaves it looking like they where running out of ink. one of the few times a print doesnt look better in person.
it leaves it looking like they where running out of ink.
thats what i thought.

that is hilarious! a good companion to the "Flipper" barcode handbills!
I wonder, did EMEK ever release a Beanie Baby line? :P
Just searched over @ ebay.ca for the most expensive beanie baby toy & the top one listed was for $1,500,000.00. It's the 1997 Princess Diana TY Beanie Baby.
My sadness gets deeper with each passing day... It was mailed Priority on the 18th, still haven't gotten it yet. I contacted emek, they said they'd look into it. But still my hope is fading.

I received mine in the mail today, and I don't know what's the fuss is all about, it is a nice looking poster, is not pure 100% emek's style but i like it.

Does EMEK sent out tracking numbers to those shipped in the USA? Hopefully yours will come in Monday!
Yeah he did send out a tracking number... but that was way back on the 18th. My Queens of the Stone Age X-Ray print was mailed on the 25th and I got it the 27th... So you can see why I'm more than a little worried. But thanks for keeping hope alive! Hopefully it does get here Monday, that would be a relief
