How about The secret show at Henry Fonda theater? Capacity is around 800. Don't think either of the two were the most coveted, but there were definitely people willing to give a limb for a ticket.

the only show i've tried for where i refreshed that damn page until "out of stock" (and not "temporarily out of stock") finally showed up, which was a few hours. whoever had the set in their cart obviously didn't know, and when they finally got released someone's day was made, and it wasn't mine.

    Great list!!!!!!!
Kinda dislike most Euro shows the last couple tours '09, '07, festival setlists suck. ;) But definately some incredible shows in the past . . . I'd throw on the list Boston shows; some of those shows have been historic (i.e. Garden 94, Orpheum 94, Mansfield 03 "the experiment", Garden 06 "Resurrection of Leash" . . .

    :ugeek:
    1996: Hartford; 1998: Hartford, Mansfield I & II
    2000: Saratoga, Mansfield I & II; 2003: West Palm, Tampa, Mansfield I & II & III; 2004: Boston I & II; 2005: Montreal; 2006: Albany, Hartford, Boston I & II, East Rutherford; 2007: Lolla
    2008: Tampa, MSG I & II, Hartford, Mansfield I & II; 2009: Chicago I & II, Philly I, III & IV; 2010: Cleveland, Buffalo, Hartford, Boston & MSG II.

I remember some guy paid 3 grand for a pair of tickets to a show at the Great Western Forum, back in 98. That was a regular stop on the tour.

Do not underestimate the Irving Plaza NYC show for the release of avocado. I was there and at the Vic and both were amazing, but Irving Plaza was balls to the wall energy and craziness. At one point a dude leaped off the balcony! I am only even comparing the two because they were both SMALL venues.
  • Aside from the Vic, Irving Plaza and the Astoria in 2006 jump to mind, so does Benaroya Hall in 2003. Some dude offered me $2000 and his g/f for the night for my ticket outside.
