pretty cool to see a poster in my collection on the list (#12)

I'm sure some people would be pleased to see and Ames poster on the list, then again, some may prefer a different Ames poster or even a Klausen.
what do you think?

    wow!

    12: PEARL JAM

    September 15, 2005
    Bell Center, Montreal, Quebec
    Artist: Ames Bros

Pearl Jam just released a book collection of posters, "Pearl Jam vs. Ames Bros: Thirteen Years of Tour Posters," which commemorates the band's long affiliation with Ames and artist Brad Klausen. All are rewarding, and each has a gift of walking the line between dark and tragic and oddly comic, in a slightly sinister sort of way, such as this example. Note the machine gun on the little boy's t-shirt. Ames Bros Pearl Jam posters, which are all limited editions, regularly fetch upwards of 10-20 times their original $5-20 purchase price.

Glad to see PJ on it but this list is crap. What criteria did they use and who picked? Some of those posters are awful.

i makes me laugh that some of the poster from the 60's and 70's that are just a picture and the show details gets on these lists.

i know for their time they were probably great but with the artwork that goes into the posters today it's just not right to compare them. just my opinion.
The plural of VINYL is VINYL. slh

#20 Led Zeppelin has a picture of an avocado. So much for "Self Titled" being an original album cover ;). I have to say out of all those the Family Values poster is my favorite.

Cool list and thanks for sharing...like most things in Rolling Stone, I disagree with the list and can think of many other posters that are way cooler than the ones they chose to include...

There are dozens of PJ posters that are better than the one they chose, some even from the same year.

I had that on the wall in the living room of my previous residence. It's a great poster, but this list was for event posters.
