Eddie Vedder Tour - Poster

Howdy Folks,

I recently designed an Eddie vedder poster and thought I'd share it with ya.

The idea behind the poster was to create imagery using type/text.
I created a mountain for the whole Alaskan adventure - into the wild theme.

I used the letters "EV" (Eddie Vedder) and "AUG" (August) to create the image.

I only got to see one show in August so thats why the poster has the month(AUG) of the show.

I'd be glad to give you the working file so you can go print it as large as you'd like. If there's enough people who like it then I'll post another link to the working file...cool?

    not bad..I'd lower the V about an inch cause it blends too much into the E...just my opinion :)

    pretty cool...you could use a music note to make the holes for th eE...hook 'em together...but all in all I'm just an idiot and you have the talent so forget that. ;)

    you should get it silkscreened and sell it at cost to people...

    do you think 10C would have a problem with that, as long as you're not making a profit? Making your own posters for shows as fan art? I've thought about doing stuff like that for shows there weren't posters for that i went to, like the henry fonda in Hollywood... is that something people would have interest in?

    Yeah, I'm getting one printed next week - I don't think that 10 club would be cool with me selling them though - would be cool if I could.

    Either way I plan on Designing a poster after every show, based on the experience I had - I like to get a feel for the show and the venue then create a design after the experience.

    I'll be sending the working files to those that are interested.

    Not sure what you mean by the "henry fonda in Hollywood" send me a link.
