Fair St Louis begins on Saturday. It includes free airshows, Steve Miller concert, & fireworks. Fair St Louis is held on the Arch grounds. You can always tour the Arch & the Anheiser Busch factory. There is also the Missouri Botanical Garden. Lots to do in the Lou. There are also casinos if you like to gamble.indybright wrote:We're headed to StL for the show from Indy....what else is cool to do while we're in town?I wish I were the verb "to trust" and never let you down0 -

If you go back a couple of pages in this thread you'll find where people are getting great deals at the Westin & Sheraton. Both are a short cab ride from the Fox. There is one boutique hotel next door to the Fox. I'm unsure of its name. Try expedia or a site like it & put your location for downtown. There are at least 10-20 hotels in that area.indybright wrote:

Our Zoo is FREE to get in.
City Museum my oldest daughter loves and it's open pretty late http://www.citymuseum.org/home.asp
I haven't posted any after party info yet, Field House closes fairly early even on Friday. I know Humphreys is open pretty late, that is where the very first party ever was! So maybe we could plan to go there after? To 10c; "Your PJ tshirt should be tight enough to show you're a woman and loose enough to show you're a lady." - bionicamy0 -
I'm down for where ever! Is there a metro station near that area? I plan on taking it in......so I don't have to drive back to where we're staying. I know there's one close to where we're staying.mindi wrote:Our Zoo is FREE to get in.

St. Louis resident and I'll be there. As an owner of two shelter dogs I'll be bringing lots of good stuff to donate to the shelter.
If people are looking for a good place to eat I'd highly suggest going to Pappy's which is down the street from the Fox kind of, best BBQ in the city.0 -

If you go, go early. There is always a long line and when they run out of food for the day they are out.0
