Constructive Criticism - Please, No abuse!
This thread is for people who have things they would like to communicate to the Ten Club in meaningful and respectful ways. If you do not have the intention of communicating with the Ten Club in a meaningful and respectful way, there are plenty of other threads out here, and I ask sincerely that you not degrade the intentions of this thread. So, here's a starting list from me.. Feel free to discuss or comment, but you know the rules 
1. Provide us with a date when we can expect our singles. A concrete deadline pushes accountability on the appropriate parties, (the band, the Ten Club) and creates happiness amongst customers.
2. A digital download for those of us who paid $150 on a boxed set so that we can listen to the material at the same time as those who paid $20 to get it in a big-box reseller would be a kind and affordable gesture - with the relative ease with which this could be done, I would in fact say it should just be a given in due time. Another option would be to figure out a more optimal means of shipping - clearly DHL International just is not the most expedient or affordable way.
3. Clearly a bottleneck in the system of purchasing tickets through Pearl Jam's website is the server. I'm not an IT technician, just a nerdy kid, but it seems to me I had heard of on-demand hosting, where you 'rent' server storage/bandwidth when it is needed (ie. traffic spikes due to sales), and then revert back to hosting in-house. Or, better yet, just let a reputable company like Amazon Web Services or Godaddy host all the time, and pay per data transferred, though I don't know about the economics of that.
4. A bit more consistency when communicating with us would be a valuable thing.. I have received emails in the past from 10C which I have found to be anywhere ranging from absolutely polite, pleasant, timely, and informative, to curt, succinct, inexpedient, or sometimes automated.

You just don't get the way they operate. This is run by musicians that have worked their entire lives to avoid deadlines and protocol. Imposing that upon them will make them run for the hills. I am all for healthy debate, but at the end of the day you are talking about artists that just dont give a crap about a structured program. Its their terms, its what feels right. And I truly believe that it is part of what makes them great. You want deadlines and a business plan? Join the U2 or the metallica fan club. And I mean that with respect.
All of this notwithstanding the $90 ticket prices to see EV solo0 -
When Buying tickets:
-Lose the "Coupon" step on tickets! Its already like climbing Mt. Everest to check out, but when you see that "Coupon Code?" screen, knowing the site can go down at any second, is really really annoying. There aren't any coupons for tickets anyway are there?
-Also can't we save our Credit Card number/info along with our billing address? Would be a whole lot faster and a lot less stressful than trying to punch in all those numbers knowing the faceless guy is right around the corner.

Seriously though, I just want something to be done about the cart situation. If I don't see the buy button, that's just bad luck. But if I see it, get it, arrive at the third step of the checkout process and enter my info, it should not be removed from my cart after I hit submit. There should be enough time to checkout once you've put the item in your cart, and this should be accounted for if a lag is expected. Seems reasonable.0 -

I don't mind not getting it, as I said. Just don't let me put it in my cart if it doesn't exist. I've had this problem before and it ends up just showing up in my order history, but today was thwarted a couple times. Just sort of frustrating.0

And the problem is not, as you say, 2,000 plus people adding it to their carts. It's the limit on the carts timing out, we actually have the items in our carts, but we have taken too long to check out by no fault of our own. Maybe an extended amount of time can be allowed on carts during ticket times or something. No clue how this all works, at the core, but it doesn't seem absurd to suggest it.0 -

Nope. If 2000 people added tickets when there is only 110 pairs, well that means CRASH and clearing out of the carts. Again, its a numbers game. One that takes patience and perseverance to get through-ESPECIALLY for an EV tour where we are talking hundreds instead of thousands.0 -
1. I would recommend adding a space to the website that would allow for the 10c to add news items - postings of information - seperate from stickies or threads. They could add updates to this information based on questions they are receiving. The current system of posting information in a thread and then 10c staff disappearing seems to be the thing that frustrates people a lot. People either don't see the main thread from 10c so they start new threads asking questions, people get frustrated reading multiple threads on the same topic, lots of questions go unanswered, etc. It seems that having a place where we know we can rely on reading the information from 10c without having to sift through various postings to find slh has responded to the question, for example, would be a better way of getting the information out there for everyone. Answering questions that are repetitive for the entire group would ease some pain. I recognize they are wonderful at answering the emails that come in - but why not share the answers for everyone and reduce their email influx?
2. I wrote to my cable company this weekend (online chat) about how the auto-payment I have been scheduled for now for over two years didn't seem to work this month. The representative couldn't answer my question for apologizing for the problem I experienced. I didn't really want any apologies, I just wanted to know what needed to happen to fix it so I wouldn't get charged with a late fee. I think, regardless of how large or small the 10c staff is, the failure of the 10c to even slightly address complaints made by the customers creates a feeling of disrespect. Whether people have emailed their concerns regarding the ticketing system or posted a comment on the board, it is clear there are a lot of unhappy customers. Why not acknowledge it and then share information to say 1) we know its a problem but it is what it is or 2) we are working on a fix and we apologize for any inconvenience or 3)anything. The fact that most members are not hearing anything from 10c on this front leaves them feeling angry and unheard. So - posting some sort of attempt at addressing the concerns would be good customer service.0 -
These shows are just Ed solo shows at the end of the day and not Pearl Jam so for 10c to have a pre-sale through this site is something to be grateful for surely? So you'd think anyway! Bigger venues would detract from the intimacy of the occasion, more shows is asking for something beyond the wishes of the artist in question(married/family man etc) and complaining at 10c is going to make no difference anyway and is as pointless as being abusive on a forum. Your comments will be forgotten about in 5 minutes anyway or ridiculed so you may as well be crying into a pillow.Like a book among the many on a shelf...
