ABOUT VINCE MIRA
Born in Los Angles, California and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Vince was discovered while playing for tips in Seattle's Pike Place Market. His first album was produced by John Carter Cash (Johnny Cash and June Carters only son) and recorded at the Cash Cabin.

Mira's "Cash Cabin Sessions" CD was released on February 26, 2008 at the Tripledoor Theatre where he performed two shows to sold out audiences with his band The Roy Kay Trio. Mr. Mira recently recorded on Stone's upcoming "Hank Williams Tribute" CD. Find out more at: http://www.vincemira.com

ABOUT HUNTINGTON'S DISEASE (HD)
HD is a devastating, hereditary, degenerative brain disorder for which there is, at present, no effective treatment or cure. HD slowly diminishes the affected individual's ability to walk, think, talk and reason. Eventually, the person with HD becomes totally dependent upon others for his or her care. Huntington's Disease profoundly affects the lives of entire families -- emotionally, socially and economically.

HDSA currently supports more than 40 scientists and 16 major HD laboratories in North America and around the world through our HDSA Coalition for the Cure with annual grants which range from $40,000 to $100,000 for HD investigations. Twenty-one HDSA Centers of Excellence at locations in major hospitals and university medical centers are supported by HDSA across the continental United States. The national office also produces and distributes, free of charge, publications and informational materials on HD and maintains a toll-free information hotline to assist physicians, patients and family members. Through 12 HDSA regions, 38 volunteer-based chapters and affiliates, 200+ support groups, we reach out across the nation to offer HD patients and their families guidance, encouragement, resource information and leadership opportunities at HDSA events, meetings and seminars -- truly a place to care, share while we all work toward a cure. We also work towards change through our HDSA advocacy programs.

NOTE: No-one under 21 years old will be admitted.

For you guys who are going, you should figure out if you can do the $1500 VIP table for 5...seems like it would be worth it to spend $50 more and sit with a table of fans you know or something...

    just my 2 cents!

Yeah...or for us poor folk that have been in the same venue as Mr. Vedder 16 times in the last 4 months... :o

(hehehe...that averages out to once a week for four months.... LUCKY ME!!!)

The $45 tix with the chance to WIN VIP isn't a bad option either.

I would loooooove to do a VIP and agree with you. If you're gonna spend $250 you might as well get a group together and party it heavy.:)

I saw Vince play last year at Market Party in Seattle. He's really good. If you like Cash, you'll enjoy Mira. I've seen him on Ellen in the past year, too.

Am I reading this right, Stone is OPENING???? I hope he gets equal time.

Since no one under 21 is permitted doesn't that cut into Mira's fanbase?
Don't get me wrong, I'm not hatin', I'm in, it's a great cause, but I'm certain this event will sell based on Stone's presence, so why is Mira the headliner?

I don't care how well boy wonder can rip Johnny Cash, Stone will own.

Just saw this guy at Bumbershoot (Vince Mira)today and holy smoke! You certainly don't expect that voice to come out of that guy! Good for Stone for getting this guy some more exposure! He did all the Johnny Cash songs that I remember my dad playing all the time when I was a kid...incredible! I think I preferred him to the Blakes, maybe even Band of Horses...

Anyway, if you get a chance to see this guy - do it!!

Guys thanks for supporting the Gig. I am a 33 year old lad from Liverpool UK who has the positive gene. My Dad has it and my Grandad died of it.
I would love to attend (funds dont precede this) ! Ha ha !

I am cool at the moment and hope the symptons ease off until im at least 40.

I would hat to lose the appreciation to music. And I feel ive got so much left to do in my life. I have'nt even met the band yet and ive seen the 5 times ! Ha ha ! Nearly had my chance at Reading. Bastard Security...

Hears hoping for a cure. Stay Strong.

Another great cause! I love it when the boys go off and do different projects like this, and I really hope this cause will raise some money, I hope it also helps research in HD.

Stay strong Coyney, you got my well-wishes heading towards you! ;)

But I just loved that "Cool water" clip, Thanks 10C! Stone is a fine singer and great duet with Barb Ireland, Nice work Stone. And I love his face expressions, shows like "he's feelin' the music" :). Bet it's gonna be a great gig! And anyone doing Cash or sounding like Cash, then hell, I'm fan! I love Cash and I hear Mira is good too...So I'm sure it'll be a great!
