    I think I've listened to its solo version played in Osaka, 2003-03-04 million of times and guess that was the only time it happened, right?

    Yeh my mate called out the request for me... As payment for getting him kick arse seats ;) Ed improved beautifully in it too. About a 3min version on the 12 string rickenbacker. Absolutely fucking amazing.
    Yeh I've seen Pearl Jam, too. But I can't remember the dates.

    OH MY GOD!!!! Absolutely amazing! Such an intimate concert but powerful. Just fantastic! Everyone stood up for Porch and I mean absolutely everyone, was so proud of our town for that! :D
    MOre details in the morning but I have some goodies for a little competition. :D Eddie, your amazing mate, I have to admit, I nearly cried in Society, such a beautiful song and was so happy he did Immortality! Thank you so much Eddie! :D:D:D:D:D:D

    Just got back from seeing Ed's show at Thebby Theatre and couldn’t resist logging on and posting straight away. A very big thanks to Ed and the crew for putting on a great show here in Adelaide. Thanks Kat for the set list too. Thebby is a great venue to see an Ed show; and he didn’t disappoint. Crowd was in good form too. 10C seats were row M in the middle; so no complaints there from me. The poster for tonight’s show was very cool too. A nice addition to the set for this tour.

    A very special night was had by all. Ed was in great form. A great mix of songs. It was great to hear Small Town (with the entire venue providing the backing vocals) :D , Porch and Immortality (very special) :D , there was a good selection from Into the Wild, and we were very lucky to hear Man of The Hour and Last Kiss solo was very special :shock: . Good to hear a few of the new songs too. The whole show was a high that will take some time to come down from.

    Those of you going to see him tomorrow night here in Adelaide (and those of you seeing him in Perth) are in for a real treat. Enjoy. :)

    hometown is always special.. :) love how tonight Ed mentioned how special Adelaide was to him too, yes yes we all know he says that everywhere :lol:

    needle & the damage done - ohhh he just nailed that :) my boyfriend was very impressed (so he shoulda 8-) )
    small town - could hear every voice in the crowd, nice work by all. the loudest i had heard this song in terms of crowd participation after a Brisbane and Melb stint
    goodbye - this was gorgeous..
    can't keep - just chuffed he played this - one of my faves
    gone - didn't expect this off of avo, enjoyed it more this tour than '06
    the ship song - i was thinking of zig all throughout :o damn it was good Sus :o
    immortality - seemed to be a longer version than i had heard on previous sets?
    tonight you belong to me - loved the intro banter with EJ
    untitled - HELL YESSSSSSSS it was the shit - as in really good :lol: i really wanted MFC after :cry::lol:
    last kiss - kinda strange solo! crowd got really into it
    throw your arms - one of a few 'pool night songs'

    with 10c i had the extreme left of row M.. some very quiet people around. it was show number 5 for me, every single show has basically been within 3 seats of the end.. maybe for my last tomorrow i'll get centre :lol:

    on a final note, i kind of walked away from an opportunity for better tickets but i took the high road, respect and dignity and all that jazz.. hope karma works it's magic

    Why play it in Adelaide and not Melbourne, Cave's hometown? Makes no sense. Ed probably got the idea after I screamed it through the fence at him...."Play The Ship Song Eddie!!" Should have shut my mouth! haha ;)

    Apart from that though, most amazing show. Thanks so much to Eddie, still can't complete how beautiful his voice was and how powerful his performance was.
