If Kelly Curtis wrote a Pearl Jam book would you purchase it?

edited July 2008 in The Porch
I think this guy has a tremendous book in him. He was there during all the Ticketmaster/Congress hysteria, of course and was entrenched with the politics of everything that happened with that conflict and probably has an interesting perspective being on the front lines. Plus he I'm sure has plenty of PJ stories that would make us all laugh and probably never heard before. Of course, I'd like an autobiography from one of the band members, but I don't think that will happen anytime soon (although you never know). I think Curtis would bring an interesting outlook on the band from a different angle. But I'd be curious if there'd be enough interest to get a book from the tour manager.

That book would be really cool. Doubt he'll write it anytime soon. Maybe someday when we're all old geezers...but for now I think he's just concerned with managing the band.

If he did write a book I think it would be a no-brainer EVERYONE in the 10c and just people who have a mild interest/want to learn more about the band would buy it!

I think there could be a good book here. I'd be curious to hear about the early days from Curtis' vantage point in dealing with booking arenas and touring (such as Lollapooloza) and all the stuff that goes on behind-the-scenes. He'd give a good perspective of how the band has evolved from a rock band to a legendary act in the music business. If he pulled no punches, it has potential.

Its been a while since the last book anyway, we could use a more well rounded one including more recent events and a closer look from the manager of the band rather than someone doing interviews and following them.

I would buy it, wouldn't it be cool if Eric Johnson put in his two sense?
Here’s a question you might need to ask

Yeah, I would definitely buy a Pearl Jam book authored by Kelly Curtis.

But really, why only Pearl Jam? He's helped manage Soundgarden, Mother Love Bone, and Pearl Jam. Also, I believe he helped Alice In Chains with their first demo. With all of those experiences, I'm sure there would be some great stories and recollections.
