so I'm talking to my mother (who knows I'm a complete PJ nut) tells me she was watching TV last night and this chump makes a comment like "I'm not the greatest singer but you don't have to be, i mean look at Eddie Vedder....."

WTF was that supposed to mean??!! this fucking clown comparing himself to ED?

are you insinuating Ed can't sing Mr. 1 hit wonder!!??

i mean PJ sold out MSG 2 nights in a row and this fucking clown ain't even in a band anymore!! i think he is on E entertainment or some useless shit like that!!

    Sugar Ray used to been the shit! Come on where have you been? Hahaaha just joking..... I don't play attention to people that diss the band or Ed! They're just looking for ATTENTION... just like alot of people on this board that make fun of each other...... I'd take it with a grain of salt man!

    Chill out, anybody would think you're Vedders lawyer or something.

    Eddie Vedder isn't the best singer. Kurt Cobain wasn't either. Bob Dylan is a shit singer, and Neil Young and Bruce Springsteen aren't exactly the greatest either. Thing is, they are miles better than so called 'talented singers' such as, well, the people on American Idol.

    McGrath has a point. You don't have to be a great technical singer to be a good lead singer. It's about the connection and emotion more often than not for rock bands. As a technical singer, Eddie is average. Others are better, most are a lot worse. As a frontman, Eddie is amazing because of his connection with the audience and the emotion he puts into every song, whether it be an album cut or in concert.
