forget YLB, I'd be thrilled if they closed with "All Night" at every show!

It's more of an opener don't you think?

I agree much better as an opener. I though All Along The Watchtower was a good closer the other night.

i have to say that this is another instance of hearing a song live and it becoming one of my favorites.

i never cared much for the studio version but now i will give it a chance.

there was just so much energy with this song saturday night and being live you know you will get some howls and screams thrown in there.

i'm not one of those that will say it wasn't perfect and they need to work on it. that's not what i'm thinking or listening for when i'm rocking out at a show. for me it was perfect. it opened my ears to a new song!

    Esther's here and she's sick?

hi Esther, now we are all going to be sick, thanks

It's not that good of a song. Its only draw is that they never play it, and I'm sure if it got more treatment, no one would even care about it.

pffft. Ive gotta lot of love for it regardless of how much it gets played. uptempo. awesome catchy vocals, and good backup vocals. great outro. quick start.

    its got it all!!!

    Two things:

    1) I dare you to listen to even the album version and remain seated. Can't be done.

    2) Ed's looped vocals at the end are really cool.

I love all night... it's an unreleased song from the no code era and has a cool little story attached to it (lost dogs liner notes)... it's very catchy and it seems like it was made to be played somewhere in the beginning of a show... i'd be very pleased to hear it at any show i go to.

Considering they never played it, it was cool that they played it. But it isn't my favorite unplayed song. Bugs, Hitchhiker, Stangest Tribe, Sweet Lew or Whale Song would have done more for me, but it still was sweet.

All Night was sick in Columbia. It took me a second to figure out what it was but didnt take long. I think it took the energy up in there 10 fold.

It was awesome. High energy, everyone was jumping around and it's a great add to the setlist. I'd always wanted to hear this live, thank you Columbia!
