    no offense taken. dude, watching that video, i would actually play it different now. i play the main verse riffs different .. and i have a much better sound i'd use for it ..

    HYPOTHETICALLY, if they were to replace Mike, IMO, they'd have to use someone that wouldn't imitate him. Sorta like the Crowes did bringing in Luther, similar to Marc Ford, but brought a WHOLE new vibe.

    Check the Musicians and Gearheads forum, TONS of great players at (no offence Dirty) his level or better!

    Oh and to the person who said "pj songs are easy on guitar" this is true.. but lead is NEVER easy.. and im sorry but playing even the most simple stuff in front of a camera or live recording is a very very difficult task.. Its the thing i've most had to overcome as a guitar player..

    Yeah, I think that was one of the hardest things for me too. Im an extremely shy person, and the fact of recording myself or getting up in front of people always make me nervous, unless i'm extremely intoxicated of course :D

    ure mind just wants to overthink everything and u end up screwing it up. It took me about 3 hours to manage a hack version of "rise" without screwing up too horribly

    Yet when the record button goes off.. i can play it like a mother *scratches head* :D:D:D

Do you have the trouble of...say youre at a party and you have a guitar, (which is always popular around drunks) and people start asking you to play stuff, and even though you probably know ever pj song, and a shit load of other stuff other than your own, you can NEVER think of anything to play...so you sit there like a dumbass going...well uhh i can't think of anything to play, and then all that coolness you earned goes right down the shitter. Is it just me? :D

    Haha im not so bad when it comes to a small group of people but yeah on the spot like that i wouldnt know what the hell to play! Thats why i finally started just writing my own shit :P So at least im prepared if it ever happens :D


    With time im hoping i will improve :) im sure u will to! You should make ure own mini setlist of songs u can play and put it in ure pocket (so you wont get caught with ure musical pants down next time ;) )
