I just had to put this out there, thinking back it was like a long dream.
Ed was at an alltime high.
Mike hasnt been this jumpin since Yield tour.
Jeff was happy as a motherfucker, playing his fretless bass.
Stone was perfect
Matt new kit, sininging backups.
BOOM HANGING OUT GETTING ALL WASTED.

The bands new equipment was great.
Ten club seats were closer than 06.
Who you are with a fucking tag. Fucking tears in my eyes evry time.
Over 120 songs played.
And the best thing about this tour was when they ripped into rare shit it was tight, satans bed was perfect.
The wishlist raised all that money.
The weather was perfect.
Hanging out with my bro driftingbyhtestorm and listening to all his pj knowledge.
Meeting Brad and Mike. fans of course.
Hanging out with my wife.

FUCK YEAH.
Some people have religion I have Pearl Jam.

I agree. Best tour I've ever seen. Some of the greatest runs of shows I've ever been able to attend.

    no thanks.
    i'd rather smoke one.
    ;)

    This tour is definately tops.

I always seem to think that,
and it always seems to get better,

but i think this one was nearly perfect.

    they fucking nailed the sets,
    shit was fresh.

they took old well worn songs and played them only once or twice total.
they took rare songs and played them for everyone.
the setlists were written with an expert eye.
the shows were long enough to rock, and not long enough to suck.
they brought it hard every night.
the boys (besides ed) were bringing it with the backup vocals.
everyone seemed friendly and in to it.

i had a lot of fun, man.

    good times this year.
    :D:D:D
If I was to smile and I held out my hand
If I opened it now would you not understand?

I purposely didn't look at any setlists before going to the DC show and let me tell you that is the way to see a show....when they opened with hard to imagine I almost pooped myself and everyone else around me was like no big deal.....this tour was the best since probably 96 or 98....really? over 120 songs, that says it right there....they only played a handfull of shows but knew 120 songs....thats just ridic....this band is the modern day dead on coke.

Had alot of fun....Went to 4 shows and wish I went to more.....
    Conversations getting dull
There's a constant ringing in my ears
Sense of humor's void and numb
    And I'm bored to tears.......

can't say enough about how great the band was and how great the fans were, each set had something unique as did each city- I met great local and traveling fans at every single stop, It was truly one of the thrills of my life
"Stunned by my own reflection, It's looking back, sees me too clearly and I swore I'd never go there again, Not unlike a friend that politely drags you down, down, down"

When you see me on the street, yell out "FAVO!!!"

I've been to alot of Pearl Jam shows; So fucking what.

    it was the best

    some personal highlight, or quotes

    "ohh you mean theres more"
"how the hell can you call yourself fans by not getting the tamborine and drumsticks", spoken in a very serious manner
those 2 guys at the hotel in boston, some of the crazy shit that was said, priceless
going to the wrong hotel, and giving them hell for losing our reservation
the best was the bullet on the back of the vs tour shirt
or maybee waking your ass up after I was the last to walk on the plane, throwing my bag at you, than standing up and fixing myself in front of everyone.

the best was the bullet on the back of the vs tour shirt.

To let ya'll in on this "joke".

FYI that the "bite on this" Vs. tour shirt, that has the dates on the back, with a bullet scribbled up at the top in eddies hand writting ...

that bullet is the EXACT size of a fat double wide rolled joint.

Now i'm no conspiracy theorist ;)
but that smells like a big fat conspiracy to me.

or at least, a big fat joint!

    :D:D:D

    Okay.
maybe it was more cosmicaly awesome to note, high and drunk.
    :D

See this tour it wasnt like that with me, I didnt care what I missed and the 1 thing for certain is I actually started enjoying
    courdoroy, gtf, dte,
I started a new love for comeback, and thats a song I hated, and I started realizing that evenflow is not a piss song

It wasnt just the size, you twisted the front and flatened the back. It was a replica.

I am looking foward to the new album.
You know those fuckers were writing on tour,
As Jeff would say "you know we want to record the music while its still fresh. Its a creative process dude"

Something my husband and I were talking about after seeing Hartford was not only that they sounded better than ever, since we've started seeing them in '92, but that they've also figured out to slow down the tempo, something that's obvious if you listen to older boots. They were RIGHT ON this year. Simply the best!!

we sat in the 7th row for west palm, you could smell the new equipment, like when you open and play a new dvd player, the whole place smelled like electric.
finally new amps and differant ones too.
    and yes tempo was perfect.

I'm with you. I will admit I used to roll my eyes when GTF, Small Town, and Better Man were played, but I just enjoyed the hell out of them this tour. I will agree this is the best run of shows I've seen, although I've only seen more than one show a tour since 2003.

not surprised it was the BEST FUCKING TOUR EVER... you got tickets for 'free', by free i mean you actually keep forgetting to pay the guy for the tickets.

oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

    Highlights for me:

Hartford's "Take No Prisoners" performance the entire show.

Mikey going "Full Metal Jacket" on:
    Porch (Hartford)
    Even Flow (Mansfield 2)

    Raritities:
Throw Your Arms Around Me (Ed solo pre-set mansfield 1)
    Wash
    Hard to Imagine
    Garden (Old version)
    Love Reign O'er Me
    Satan's Bed
    Education
    Brain Of J

Ed's exasperated "WTF!" during "Half Full" (Mansfield 2)

hanging with D2D, Bostonlou and Demetrious!

and lets not forget "official boots" Thanks 10C!

Pearl Jam ruined some songs with the tempo they had in 06. Glad to hear they are slowing down!
