best set yet - add man of the hour and this would be impossible to beat0

Fanviews here please.
I think there are request threads.

Wow that setlist looks fantastic. Whew.0

I fucking HATE THE BOGANS who were rampant, noisy, yelling bad requests, yelling during songs, yelling during Ed's banter, standing and blocking views when not invited, fucking et cetera.
By the end, there were hundreds of people yelling requests and you couldn't hear anything else or anyone. Ed finished a song and it was like no-one really appreciated the song because the requests started immediately.
Ed was very polite, just nodding and smiling. He handled it well. These idiots have just about ruined the evening. I can't imagine how Ed must have felt, but I almost wish I didn't go. Fucking bogans.
I'll try to focus on the good then.
I spoke to many people who didn't see Brisbane and they were stoked about how amazingly awesome it was.
It was pretty special to see Immortality in that setting. It was on his Strat, mildly driven. It was spot on. It was everything I had imagined it would be from Ed. It was not the Pearl Jam version sans band - it had a distinctive Ed rhythm. I'm pretty sure it was on the set list before the idiot(s) requested it numerous times.
Not much talking from Ed. Trying to fit many songs in but couldn't get any momentum because listening to requests wasted 30-45 seconds after every song.
Everything from the stage was 2hrs of highlights. Ed's brilliance easily trumps a million bogans.
So I'm glad I was there. It was an awesome gig.0 -

Blown away!!!! Fantastics show.
More than just one highlight for me. Masters of War was superb. All the Into the Wild stuff, The End, Just Breathe and Unthought Known was played so well, so tight.
One Country was awesome. One of my favourite Oils songs and Ed nailed it!! I was in a trance after that so when he played Immortality I thought my head was going to explode!!
Lots of fools yelling out crap. Mostly requests.Just as Ed started golden state but someone yelled out "throw your arms around me", Ed stopped and said that he made him lose his spot and just did throw your arms instead. He'd had enough of the fools and politely said so and everyone cheered. Then someone yelled out "Dirty Frank" and Ed let him have with a "you've got to be fucking kidding' tone in his voice. Very funny stuff.
Tho fools did not take anything away from the night for me. Ed was way to fucking good. Once he strummed the guitar and started singing everyone shut up a listened and he got plenty of funny banter in as well.
Off to Newcastle tomorrow.I can't go the library anymore, everyone STINKS!!0 -
