How much work actually gets done in the world the day of a PJ / EV Show?

Little to none since most of us have been staring at a seating chart all day looking for better seats

    I do as little work as possible so I can conserve all my energy for the show. Either that or I just take a vacation day and don't go to work at all. Or take a weeks off and go to 5 shows!

    HEY!!

    I've ben working like a MADMAN today ... but only so I can cut out of here in about 30 minutes to get to Newark early ...
    I was alone and far away when I heard the band start playing!

    ...I was always a DeadHead, but when I first heard Winston Rodney, aka the Burning Spear, sing, I became a SpearHead too!

    I am no use to anyone the day, for that matter, the week of a show (s). Not to mention ticket days....

    In the world?????? You sure have a miss guided perception of how big the world is and how many Pearl Jam fans there are in the entire WORLD......

    A better question would be how much work gets done the day after the Super Bowl or World Cup final.

    I had printed out three different versions of the Utd Palace seating chart and had it pretty much memorized it ... while at work !!!! I was going to leave work at 3:00 but after daydreaming all day I left at 2:00 ... my Boss was going to see Hooty the same night and he was jacked for that ... no one questioned me at all especially since they know I flew to LA in April for the same show. Kewl.
    Everything has chains, absolutely nothings changed.

    Okay, PJ will take third position behind the Super Bowl (US only) & World Cup (outside of the US only though - and its broadcast mid-day in the US so the hangover coefficient is less here).

    Keep in mind this is a PJ site so tours ARE our Bowl and Cup.

    Has anyone really worked since March when the tour tickets went on sale???

    I still dont think I'm completely recovered from attempting to get 10C seats for the shows!

    By the way I had the best weekend of the summer last weekend. Eddie Vedder on Friday and Saturday in Boston and then twin lobsters on Sunday for my family's birthday. But then again, I went to the PJ Hartford show on a Friday and then left on Saturday morning from my Hartford hotel for Long Beach Island for an awesome vacation at a beach house during 4th of July week. Hmmmm....I've had a good summer so far. :)
