Speaking of "State" --- State of Love and Trust.

    Geez, they have a lot.

It's not an original PJ tune, but Leaving Here touches on some of the themes mentioned.

Have someone new now, who has helped me with the situation because he was there to watch it all happen, just thought music could help too. And I do find it pathetic that all this happened back in November of '07. Just want to move on and keep distracting myself from the flashbacks.

    take up boxing or karate
    ;)

music is too viceral and connected to our emotions IMHO
and there are so many lyrics that touch on relationships

maybe a little metal would help-but that would fuel anger or resentment

Perfect. Couldn't have said it better. The last thing you want to do is associate your favorite band ever with your least favorite person ever.

True but I've been listening to Pearl Jam way long before that colostomy bag came into my life. Maybe I should listen to some Courtney Love, I'm not that into her and it's angry enough.

Thanks so much everyone I'm so glad that I could turn to all of you! :D
Here’s a question you might need to ask
What’s self destruction and how can we last?

"I cannot stop the thought of running in the dark.
Coming up a which way sign. All good truants must decide."

No problem. Out of curiosity, are you a boy or a girl (not that it matters)? Just curious.

3 pages in this thread and I'm the 1st person to say "Hitchhiker"?

This song certainly had my ex totally pegged.
Up here so high I start to shake, Up here so high the sky I scrape, I've no fear but for falling down, So look out below I am falling now, Falling down,...not staying down, Could’ve held me up, rather tear me down, Drown in the river

I believe "Come Back" is what Ed sings when him and Stone get into a fight.

Yes, yes that was lame but I want to bring some humor into this thread.

The real key is not PJ's music. While I recommend putting the PJ of your own choice on the stereo, the real key to forgetting someone, at least for a while, is to drink massive amounts of alcohol
All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow

What! No one has said Life Wasted?
“Wind in my hair, I feel part of everywhere...
Late at night I hear the trees, they're singing with the dead...overhead...”
