Ticketmaster may be more fair.

Maybe when tickets go on sale on Ticketmaster it will be easier. I don't think Ticketmaster only allows people with Masshole IP's to buy tickets. I got the "Buy" icon like 30 times today and kept getting a message ""EV SOLO TOUR 2ND LEG BOSTON 8/2/08 TICKET PAIR " could not be added to your cart because it is out of stock" afterwards. Thanks for nothing 10 Club.

You sound like the type that will be much happier with Ticketmaster. Good luck with that.

Trust me it's not only people in Mass that got tix. I'm here and scored Boston I but got on at exactly 2 (using time.gov) and they were already Temp Out of Stock. Got the buy button 3 times and got the same message as you.

bitter threads dont solve anything! Be thankful you had the chance to even TRY for tickets..... if I didnt get them I wouldnt be pissed I couldn't go, If I wanted to go that badly I would make it happen ether through TM or a ticket agency! You can't put a price on a memory in my opinion!

I feel as though ticketmaster will be just as hard to get tickets. Mainly because "Into the Wild" appealed to so many different people. I know quite a few people at work who didn't go see Pearl Jam on tour, but are going to try and get tickets for the solo tour. The demand is definitely widespread, as I am sure it is all over the country. Who could in their right mind pass up seeing one of these solo shows???!!!

Same thing happened to me, keep getting the BUY button, but it never adds to my cart. It keeps saying "Temporarily out of stock", and I am still trying to get tickets, but nothing happens, still the same message. It got to the point that I want to see the "Out of Stock" message so I dont have to waste anymore of my time!

I don't think everyone who wants a ticket will be able to get one this time around unfortunately just because of the size of the venue. Maybe a better system would be for everyone to check off the shows they want to attend on a full list of all the shows, that gets them a reservation (a commitment to buy), then when the tickets are ready to be sold, 10C can just go to the reservation list and fill it based on seniority. Whatever reservations are left over from the 10C allotment, just pass them on to Ticketmaster and have the orders fulfilled by Ticketmaster before the public sale. That way everyone will have a better chance of getting a ticket and there is no AM presale ticket panic.
