Nope. you're wrong.
Wisconsin had a 120 million dollar surplus, but the new governor pushed through huge tax cuts in his first days in office so he could claim a "budget repair bill" was needed.

First they came for the communists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a communist.
Then they came for the trade unionists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a trade unionist.
...
Then they came for the Jews,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a Jew.
Then they came for me
and there was no one left to speak out for me.0 -

Well... it costs money to properly maintain fire extinguishers... and make sure that machinery is all working properly. Air conditioning in factories? That's expensive and it's the kind of thing that only collective bargaining can bring.
yes, there are some government regulations that give a level of safety but the Koch brothers have been chipping away at those, too. When workers are over-worked and in unsafe conditions, accidents can happen.. huge ones.. and it's only things like Unions that have been truly effective at protecting the people.
Look at China and India where line workers die all the time because of malfunctioning, poorly-maintained machinery, people are over-worked into depression and suicide, fires start because of bad wiring because of low standards and hundreds of people die... I mean, these are the things that unions were started FOR.. not just so people could be lazy.
I disagree. In some larger corporations, they company is the one setting a higher safety standard. And in some cases, it's the union that cares more about the wrong things rather than making their members follow safety procedures.
So, I am not entirely sure that the KOCH brothers are doing away with safety standards. If so, I'd like to see some example. Also, air conditioning is not a safety standard except in extreme cases. In the most effective companies, the union has a negative impact on safety (in my opinion).hippiemom = goodness0 -

And you're basing your opinion on what, exactly?
And that said... sure, there are companies that care about their workers. And then there are many more that cut as many corners as they possibly can.0 -
