    come to send, not condescend
    transcendental consequence
is to transcend where we are
who are we? who we are
    trampled moss on your souls
    changes all you're a part
seen it all, not at all
    can't defend fucked up man
take me a for a ride before we leave...
    circumstance, clapping hands
    driving winds, happenstance
off the track, in the mud
that's the moss in the aforementioned verse
just a little time, before we leave...
    stop light plays its part
so i would say you've got a part
what's your part? who you are
you are who, who you are

this is awesome. does anyone agree?

yeah same, its a great song. i like how it represents everyone. If you listen to it, it makes you think about life and how we were put on this earth and everything like that. I also love this from the song.

I am mine by pearl jam
    ............................................
The selfish theyre all standing in line...
Faith in their hope and to buy themselves time.
Me, I figure as each breath goes by,
    I only own my mind.

The north is to south what the clock is to time.
Theres east and theres west and there everywhere life.
I know that I was born and I know that Ill die.
The in between is mine. I am mine.

And the feeling it gets left behind...
Oh the innocence broken with time...
Were different behind the eyes, theres no need to hide.
    Were safe tonight.

The ocean is full cause everyones crying,
The full moon is looking for friends at high tide.
The sorrow grows bigger when the sorrows denied.
I only know my mind. I am mine.

And the feeling it gets left behind...
Oh the innocence broken with time.
Were different between the lines, theres no need to hide...
    Cause were safe tonight.

And the feeling it gets left behind...
Oh the innocence broken with time.
Were different behind the eyes, theres no need to hide.

And the feeling it gets left behind...
Oh the innocence broken with lies.
    Were different behind the eyes.

Oh man- that's a tough one... uhmmm- i would have to say Sometimes, Oceans, Tremor Christ, All Those Yesterdays, Rival, Hard to Imagine, Sunburn, Can't Keep, Love Boat Captain, Education, Sad, Comatose, Last Exit, Rearviewmirror, Once... Those are just some favorites off the top of my head, and I know it seems like an awful lot considering you asked for "a" favorite song, but when you look at their extensive song index, this would hardly make a dent in it! lol

    What's your favs?

    thanks :]
im joining the ten club right now, im going to mail my letter tomorrow i want all the cool stuff about my favorite band. Does anyone agree that pearl jams music makes you think more than other bands. For example the song who you are makes me think and so does do the evolution. I love how the members of pearl jam want to save our earth and keep making people happy with the music they sell and make. I just cannot comprehend how much i love this band.

Yeah i know a lot of the less known ones, but some of them i like but are not my favorites, i do have all of their cds! i wrote this earlier but does anyone feel the same way as me?

    .....................................................

To me, every song has a meening i have watched all of pearl jams videos and heard all cds. Everytime i hear a song by them i get a feeling of trust and love. Their band is very talented and what i like about pearl jam is that there not like every other rock band. They have alternative songs, hard rock songs, and acoustic songs. Eddie Vedders voice goes with every single song, and hes very talented in that way. He can make any song in the world sound good. Which is a talent that most artists do not have. Some people say that pearl jam is a sellout band, but to me i feel as though lately in the 2000's have been there best concerts and more and more people like them. I did not get to see them in mansfield myself and i tried to get tickets to eddie vedder alone in the opera house, boston. But it was sold out. Just so happens that he was playing on my birthday which would have been cool. Eddies perspective on life is one i can relate to. Without music in my life i think i would be very sad and lonely. i started enjoying music around the age of 12, now i love pearl jam. Sometimes rock bands take advantage of all the fame and fortune, but i feel as though pearl jam has never done that. Has never showed off and never did drugs. This is why pearl jam is my favorite band. Sometimes its not just the music thats important, but the people who are playing it.
