I talked with Mike last night

I thought the doors were at 8:00 for the Flight To Mars show. I was wrong they were at 9:00. I was way early. As I got to the club I saw Mike hanging outside in the front. The band was just getting done with sound check. Mike stuck out his hand and said Hi and asked my name. For the next ten minutes we talked cassually about life, music and Pearl Jam. He asked were I was from (Puyallup) and wanted to know who was playing the fair because he wanted to take his family. We then showed each other pictures of our kids and talked about being dads. I asked about The Bridge School Benifit and he told me that PJ would not be there this year. We also talked about Motley Crue being in town and him seeing them when he was younger. He took pictures with myself and my friends and then he left. The show was amazing! Tons of energy and I got to meet more Pit Members than I can remember. After the band got done Mike hung out and took picture, signed autographs, and handed out giutar picks! I went up and shook his hand again. And Mike asked me "Was that better than the Crue"? Yeah, Mike it so was, I told him. It was a really awesome night and that rock star is one of the nicest people I have ever talked to!
There's alot to be said for Nowhere

No we didn't end up going, I couldn't find sitter for the baby. The boy was kinda upset, but got over it when we drove down the street and listened to BuckCherry playing at White River. My friend lives about 1 block from it, so we parked and walked down for about a half hour. Wish PJ would play White River, I would have huge BBQ!!!
I haven't checked is Shadow show all ages?0 -

We are really trying to keep him on right path. We bought him a guitar a few months ago. He Love's PJ and Buckcherry, and Metallica. We went on a road trip last week and my wife and I thought it was funny..He sang along with every word from Gorge 2005 CD, didn't miss a beat.
Guitar hero really got the music bug in him, and he is really good at it, he finished Expert career, hell I can't even finish a hard song..LOL
When I remembered show was at Tractor, i knew it was 21+, but he will get to see Mike play soon I hope.0 -
