candleofthought wrote:I thought the doors were at 8:00 for the Flight To Mars show. I was wrong they were at 9:00. I was way early. As I got to the club I saw Mike hanging outside in the front. The band was just getting done with sound check. Mike stuck out his hand and said Hi and asked my name. For the next ten minutes we talked cassually about life, music and Pearl Jam. He asked were I was from (Puyallup) and wanted to know who was playing the fair because he wanted to take his family. We then showed each other pictures of our kids and talked about being dads. I asked about The Bridge School Benifit and he told me that PJ would not be there this year. We also talked about Motley Crue being in town and him seeing them when he was younger. He took pictures with myself and my friends and then he left. The show was amazing! Tons of energy and I got to meet more Pit Members than I can remember. After the band got done Mike hung out and took picture, signed autographs, and handed out giutar picks! I went up and shook his hand again. And Mike asked me "Was that better than the Crue"? Yeah, Mike it so was, I told him. It was a really awesome night and that rock star is one of the nicest people I have ever talked to!
Wooooow! Great story, thanksGet em a Body Bag Yeeeeeaaaaa!

I drove around the cascade/south lake union neighborhood, went all the way home- printed out directions from mapquest and still couldn't find it.
feel like an idiot- ( I have no night vision apparently?)
at least I can walk to the Tractor.

Hey Kity- It's tricky getting down do the corazon, because the closest streets go up over to Capital Hill... the easiest way is probably to take Howell, which turns into Eastlake, or if you're walking, take the sidewalks on the *side* of the bridges (which looks like sketchy alleys that you wouldn't want to walk down. : )rock musik rockar röv.0 -
candleofthought wrote:He said they were gonna start recording in October. he said they already had five songs written and have demos for them! Did not sound like they would be doing any more touring
