I don't know if this has been posted or not... but the Arc that Eddie pulls off at his solo shows is fucking magical!!

If you haven't heard it.. he uses some vocal loop pedal and builds up a fucking amazing vocal performance of the song. I never really liked that song on Riot Act until I heard him do it live.
Whoa, chill bro... you know you can't raise your voice like that when the lion's here.

I'm sorry, you probably didn't get the memo from the dickhead in Chicago, Arc is now known as Wordless Ullulations...

I haven't been this taken with some hack's scribbling since I was in grammar school and some guy writing about the Stones cited Jagger and his "undulating crotch."

I liked it. I've seen another musician (at a home concert) use that pedal thingy!
I wanted to dive on the stage and look at ed up close, but I controlled myself.

How are you making out with the hurricane? I read that alligators were floating down the streets in the flood waters.

seeing arc live was a spine-tingling and unforgettable experience. Here is another arc done live in San Diego in 2003. The clip is a little under 4 minutes and it gets really good about 2 minutes into it!

I'll probably get laughed at for saying this, but I think that "Arc" at the solo shows have actually been a mixture of "Arc" and "The Wolf."

It starts off as "Arc" but as Eddie continues to loop, he adds some elements of "The Wolf."

Saw both shows in Boston (absolutely amazing overall), and I said the same thing to my wife. BTW: we both cried during Arc. Absolutely primal and beautiful.

I keep forgetting, this board is like Oz, threads come and go so quickly here. Someone posted an Eddie review from the Chicago Trib, I think, and the guy was such a jackass, in my opinion, and not the least of it was his referring to what music he obviously didn't get and didn't recognize (Arc) as Vocal Ullulations...I don't even know if I'm spelling that right, I'm still half asleep.

    He made me mad :D
