    Therein lies a lot of the appeal of the venue though, outside of the sound being quite good for an ampitheatre. The pre and post show party in the parking lot with other fans, it's a good time.


    im sure it is but a bar would be just as sweet..no need to hang in the lot AFTER the show...for me

    A lot of people are making assumptions. What makes you think 10C wouldn't just "sell out" of their allotted tickets before going to the lawn? I think there's a greater chance of being shut out of the 10C presale than getting 10C lawn tickets.

    ok so less members get tickets through the club..even worse

    If it's true that most of the hotels are already booked around Alpine & that 10club doesn't have any hotel packages/deals for this special event, then it's not gonna look so good. Not every PJ fan is on the message board 24/7. Many just wait for that email from 10club about show dates & when tickets go on sale, plus many just wait to hear it on their local radio station. If tickets go on sale for this PJ20 event and everything around Alpine is already booked, there's gonna be a lot of sad & upset fans.

    any major city has the hotels and transportation to make it work

    successful maybe..but not for this event..too many people gonna get shit tickets
    alot of people will have to stay at least 15 miles from the venue..its the location of alpine that sucks the most..smack dab in the middle of nowhere

    ah whatever,, everyone going to the shows enjoy ...its gonna be epic no matter where..

    True, true, true! It will be a logistic nightmare for a lot of folks. But, really awesome for those who make it, where ever it may be. I couldn't imagine how to camp somewhere that I have to fly in a plane to get to. How would I get my camping gear there? Yeah, I would need a hotel.

    Not everything... only east coast and west coast. Middle of nowhere tix usually last in the goods section until 'pre-sale' time limit has expired and public on sale starts.

    Yeah but let's just say they only do this weekend in AV and a hand full of shows in Canada those tickets for AV will be gone in MNTS from the time they go on Sale , you gotta figure at least double the amount of people that AV can accomodate will be going for those tickets ....
