What is your favorite opening song that you have never heard live?

Release for me. I have always dreamed of being at a show where this opens. Someday maybe. My fave that I have seen in person was Alive.

    Yellow Ledbetter is my least favorite song. Because as soon as you hear the first note you know it is time to say goodbye.

    I guess Wash would be the only "traditional" opener that I have not seen.

    I finally got to cross Long Road and Release off the list on the '06 tour. It was a long wait, but well worth it. Those would be my two favorites by far.

    Of the Girl is a very underrated opener, IMO. Great little groove on it.

    Present Tense - not very common, but it has opened some shows.

    Of the "traditional" openers, I'd love to see Of the Girl.

    I think I've seen PJ play all of their openers (that have been played). However, I heard Wash late in a show, not as an opener.

    I've seen Sometimes at Boston 3 in 03, but I've never seen it open a show.

    Same here I would love to see Oceans!!! :) ....after the Ten tour did they ever play it as anything other than an opener?

    Wash can happen later in the set (it was on Dusseldorf setlist but got crossed out :(..not my fault though, it's Glorified G I got kicked to the curb there ;))

    My 1st PJ concert was Pittsburgh 98 and PJ opened with Release. IT was great...Eddie was wearing a black tobogan..I couldnt believe I was at a PJ show and release put me in a trance.

    I've seen dozens of shows and I've either just missed this one the night before or they play it the night after. I can't even listen to it on the boots because I want to have that live experience. * sigh * I'm seeing all east coast shows from DC to Mansfield though, so I'm keeping my fingers tightly crossed!

    Fave that I've seen - Hmmm ... that's tough 'cause I've been fortunate to see some good ones, but if I had to choose one, it has to be Oceans (in Hawaii). Mostly because I insisted all day that they'd open with it and the boyfriend kept telling me I was just "wishful(ly) thinking".

    whoever wants to hear Release as the opener come to a show in Toronto, the last 3 straight I have been to there -- 2003, 2005 & 2006 have been Release as the opener.

    Would love Wash for an opener. Standing in line for Fan Clubs tickets in 2003 in Chicago a thunderstorm rolled through. Thought Eddie would dedicate Wash to everybody standing in the rain, but it didn't happen. Still waiting...
