Jones Beach 8-25-00. The last of 3 nights. I bought this boot when it first came out, and I hadn't listened to it since then. God, I love that "feels like the first time" feeling...:)

Sometimes(what a unique opener!), Grievance, Corduroy, Whipping, Do The Evolution, Animal, Evacuation, Red Mosquito(This is one of my favorite live tracks from the band, WHY don't they play this more often!!??), In Hiding(Ed nails this, and one of my fav PJ songs EVER!), Even Flow, Mankind(and Stone nails THIS), Untitled, MFC, Rearviewmirror, Present Tense(6 songs from NO code!?, does it get any better?), Given To Fly, Thin Air, Off He Goes, Black, Jeremy, Immortality
Encore 1 Go, Insignificance, In My Tree, Elderly Woman Behind The Counter In A Small Town, Better Man/(Save it for Later), Smile, Baba O'Riley
Encore 2 Yellow Ledbetter

I am SO psyched for this tour!!!

My favorite run of this band, 8-00.

Saw them 4 nights later in Mansfield - to die for.

Listen for the end of given to fly when Ed says "Fuck You, Bring your own goddamn wine mister!" somebody must've been swigging on his wine! hilarious!

yeah, easily one of the best boots from the north american tour that year. that was a great stretch for me personally... my friends and i attending all 3 jones beach show and it was a hell of a good time.

present tense from that night is perfect. by far the best i've heard.

DUH! jones beach 3 is easily my favorite show period. The band is spot on (with the exception of given to fly after ed sings "down on his knees" mike accidentally repeats the intro as if there is another verse before the chorus)

anyway that show kicks ass im probly gonna listen to it after im done with evil urges today!

The last four songs of the main set is one of my favorite moments of any of the bootlegs I own for sure. And yeah, the No Code thing definitely makes the show special.

This is probably the boot I have listened to the most because my dad bought it for me when it first came out. It took at least a year for me to start collecting the others. What a great show. I just figured Sometimes was their regular opener at the time.

All 3 of those Jones Beach shows are excellent.

aahh...that is one of the finest 2000 boots in my opinion.

They just nail pretty much every song.

But I seem to recall that "Sometimes" as that nights opener has a major screw up (:

Holy crap what a perfect show, I just listened to this straight through again at high volume - my Saturday is stoked. :D

Grievance > Corduroy > Whipping > DTE > Animal > Evacuation = the perfect PJ onslaught. "How's that, fuckers?" lol :):):)
