Someone stole my license plate in hartford

Last night someone stole my vanity plate that said -prljam. I know this is a long shot but if anyone has info about this let me know. Now i have to get a new one and all the other combinations are taken. I got the plate 2 years ago as soon as i turned 16 and i was hoping to keep it for a long time. Bad way to end a great show:(

    that sucks. & ya know it probably wasnt one of us; most likely a drunk-fuck that thought "hey, ...look at that.....I'm gonna take it!!"

    we'd take a picture; it lasts longer.

    They tried to take the front plate but could only get the back. So for now i moved the bent up front one to the back. I'll be in mansfield tonight driving the black focus with 1 plate. I'm pretty sure it happened at my hotel in manchester not at the venue. 4 kids with pj shirts were parked near me and when i asked them about it they claimed they didnt know but left in a hurry.

    this might be a strange conspiracy, but I've heard lately of people stealing plates, then stealing gas...THEN ditching the stolen plates...

    if this is true, i don't know.
    but it's something to think about.

    the one good thing, is i doubt they are going to put it on their car and bring you any trouble that way. it will just wind up hanging on some piece of shits wall.

    you just advertised what car you drive and what your license plate sez and where you will be...you should be a tad more careful, somebody may swipe the other one and then you would be screwed.

    there was a guy a few rows in front of me that had a NH license plate on his neck. it said PRRL JAM though. :(

    hey i saw ur car when u were drivn in.my buddy pointed out ur plate.....so unfortunately u lost it at the venue.........that is some crap that a pj fan would pull a stunt like that...good luck to you in findn it

    I'm pretty sure it was taken at the hotel after the show. I don't think anyone would be stupid enough to take it at the actual show. Plus I remember seeing it as I left the show. Thanks though:)

    I think that if hoodlums were on such a mission, they probably would have had a screwdriver rather than trying to rip the plates off by hand. Still, you may want to call the DMV/police and report the plates stolen ASAP to avoid potential complications. When I was around there ~10 years ago, Hartford was rather a pit and the bums there weren't all that bright.

    As for the plates themselves, they should be tied to your registration, which is tied to you and your car, so you will probably be able to get replacement plates without paying an arm and a leg.

    that is just fucked up! Now I will try and be more cautious going to shows, but you never know where the clepto's will be...damn, what losers!
