I was thinking about this the other day. The songs that meant so much in the beginning for me... have morphed over time as I get older. The meanings have changed and the more life I experience, the deeper and more powerful the songs have become to me. There aren't a lot of bands for me who's music can stand the test of time... but be so well represented that they grow without trying over time. Seems pretty magical to me... I'f I'm the only one, I'll happily be nutso-butso...
Makes much more sense....to live... in the present tense...

    When your into Pearl jam it is not that silly at all,its all about good and strong music with lyrics that lets you think about life and all that can happen too you in good and bad times...
    Good music last forever...And never gets boring....Pj 4 live...

    Even Ed talked about how Alive has changed for him during Storytellers. You are right it is a magical thing to have songs not only mean something to you years ago, but possibly still mean something 20 years from now in a completely different way. Great post.
