Ha ha cool thread. I can relate to a lot of what has already been said and just add some more ...

You think of PJ when words like Porch, Daughter, Once, Blood, elderly woman etc. come up and start using lyrics in everyday talks. (You say even flow instead of even though  )
You buy a turntable because you want to know whether the sound of vinyls is really that fantastic although you have only one PJ vinyl single at home.
You have more than 10 versions of every song on your ipod but never stop searching for more ...

You've named your cat Smitty and your bird Ricky, and tell your neighbors "I can't have a good show without them" as they lower their head and walk away in awkward silence.

You've tattooed the names of each drummer on your arm, and then following Matt, your name is listed. :D

The "No Code" album cover was used as your graduation photo.
ADD 5,200 to the post count you see, thank you. :)

If you refer to live albums that cost 15 dollars as "bootlegs"....you might be a Pearl Jam fan.quote]

Is it embarrassing that when I first stated coming on here that when people kept referring to boots I did for a brief while think they were referring to PJ branded footwear.
  • when you listen once a week all 86 versions have been played of Nothing as it Seems

you and your friend are standing in line at the box office around 3pm (right when it opens) super excited to find out how close your seats are gonna be

you and the same friend later arrive at your awesome seats (yes we're on Mike's side!) and immediately begin specualtion on what the first song will be. "Can't be Release cuz they opened with that last night. It's either gonna be Long Road or Oceans..."

you are ecxited for them to play a certain "rarity" because you heard people talking about them playing it earlier at soundcheck

you finally get back home after driving for many hours, it's 3 am, your ears are still ringing and you're goofy tired. But instead of immediately seeking much needed sleep, you jump on the internet to share your memories and relive the show
    I Saw Pearl Jam!
    49 shows and counting....

    YES.
And when your associate has to make three different phone calls in a row to her clients to apologize for her bad temper or minor mess ups, you can't help but singing the first line of Foxymop out loud and giggle.
Funny how there are PJ lines suitable for just any situation really.

When you used to not think twice about dropping $30 on a single import bootleg, $50 for a 2CD and $100 plus for a "boxset", not caring about the quality, just so you could experience the thrill of hearing/reliving Pearl Jam live.

I kind of miss those days. My wallet doesn't!

Your iPod has 100+ playlists that all begin with the letters PJ:
and then the name of a city or concert venue (sometimes followed by a number..ie PHILLY 4)
and the BEST playlist is simply labeled PJ: EVERYTHING
