Decided to listen to my first and only PJ show. (I'm 16 so...) HARTFORD '06 baby! this year i'm hittin hartford, MSG II, and mansfield the 30th. can't wait.
anyways, just decided to re-live the great memories i have from my first pj show. remember it as clear as day. changed my life.
*the absolutely stellar version of sleight of hand (the one song i wanted to hear the most at the time) ..
*hearing i'm open for the first time ever...
*inside job with the crazy lighting just taking you to another world ...
*10+ minute RVM...
*we belong together tag on black with one of the best mikey solos...
*new version of garden back to back with why go...
*ed climbing the amp stacks during alive...
*actually hearing i got shit live...
*the crowd singing the entire first verse to betterman..
*and lastly, of course, seeing the best band in the world, live, for the first time...

I'll always remember my first show...1992 at the San Jose Event Center. I couldn't believe the energy they brought to the show...just magic.
me too! that is of course you are referring to the 30th. theres been a big mixup between who considers which show mansfield I or II do to what tickets were avaliable first hehe. i always just call it mansfield 30th.

wow .. way back. that's so awesome. i would have loved to see them back then when eddie was psycho and the band was a ferocius beast.

well then i definitely agree with you! hopefully they save all the rareties and the extra long set for that show .. i think it's always better to see the second of a 2 show run if you can only hit one of the shows .. hence msg II as well .. they always seem to make it more epic. plus this is the last show of the tour.

Yeah...they were ALL nuts...especially Ed!
Back then though... I missed a lot of cool stuff going on on the stage because I was always caught in the mosh pit or crowd surfing.
I think I enjoy just watching and grooving to the music now much better.
Less headaches anyways.
