    Sweet news. Would love to go for the box set but am currently saving to see my friends in Seattle in 2011! Yay!

    I'm torn over whether I should buy this or not. I'd love to get the box and all the extra stuff, but the fact is that if this is anything like the Ten Club remasters, they will be taking a perfectly mastered CD and turning it into the latest victim of the loudness war. Is the "audiophile" designation on the LP a code word for saying the vinyl will be properly mastered without the extreme compression and loudness that destroyed the dynamic range of the Ten remasters? Or is it just a marketing ploy to get me to buy this thing anyway? An audiophile would not listen to the garbage we were fed in the last remaster.

    I opted to just get the two LP reissues. I already ordered the 3x CD set from Amazon.com last night (for that ridiculously cheap pre-order price), so I'm all set. I can live without the live show and the other trinkets - as great as I'm sure they are.

    So, first off I have to say I am going to buy this...as I'm a sucker for almost anything Pearl jam sells...however, I don't get the $150 for the deluxe.

    The vinyls alone are 20, and CD's 10.

    So that comes out to be 60 for the 3 Vinyls, and 30 for the CDs, which is $90

    So that means we are spending $60 on the cassette, booklet and box. which I will admit it looks pretty bad ass and will look great next to the TEN Box set. But is it just me or does that seem a bit much?

    Edit: Sorry forgot to add in the live CD, I already included the Live Vinyl in the 60

    Yes, plus shipping. For me, I will save for the PJ experiences. For others, this makes them very happy which I definitely can understand

    Well - it also includes the Vinyl AND CD copies of the Boston show - 2 vinyl + 1 cd I think? So there is TECHNICALLY another $30.

    It's alot of Money but I think it is a better value then the Ten Box - I will most likely be buying it, just have to wait until I get paid next week.
