You can wear it on the Plane and when the Cabin Crew tell you to turn off all Electronic Devices, you can say... "Don't worry, I'm Analog"

    Best idea so far!

  • I will renew my membership come next January. Nothing will stop that. I am thankful for the chance to get tickets, the holiday single the PJ radio etc. But more than likely, if this is what the additional money goes towards, I will save myself $20 next year. I found this shirt lame at best. I will not wear it. I wanted some sort of art on it, some sort of color. I just expected it to be special as they indicated, what I got was boring and uneventful. I was disappointed when I opened up the package. I just think they got it wrong with this design choice. Just my opinion, it doesn't have to be the same as anyone else.

maybe , liek others , should have waited until the desiigns were out , to renew..

    in fairness,

we are entitled to our opinions and am respectful of that.

maybe, they wanted real old-skool retro , minimalist look.

wish it was another colour - design - like smbdy said, may not be apparent to the average punter on the street,

but if u met another guy/gal on the street, i am sure you'd do a double take abd start a conversation ...

has happened to me once or twice wearing a fairly obscure Fleet Foxes t shirt i got froma giog ... and only folks who know the band / were at the gig, have come up to me and said "hey - cool gig , eh. " etc.

sort of a scret brotherhood thing ....

i dunno.... ...my 2 cents

wow ...3 posts in a DAY.

    do u reckon ....

    and it's a long shot ..

if there were THAT MANY unhappy 10 clubbers,

    that

they'd make an exception for all the Analog members and send us out ANOTHER t shirt ..... later ??!! ;)

    wishful thinking, maybe ...

or , as a good will gesture, another Ltd Ed. item - ONLY for 10C members, .... :?:

I love the shirt. I think it is funny. A bit cheeky and scarcastic. I laughed when I saw it- I can totally see the band taking the piss out of all of us for the big to do over digital v. analog. 8-)

They laugh when they see the bump in their bank accounts from the $20 to $40 price hike and think "all we have to send is a tshirt that our dogs designed and they'll just throw their money at it."

If they are even aware of the price increase, I doubt they give a shit what we say nor do I think they even know or care to know there was an uproar about the price increase. They are however laughing all the way to the bank. I'm all for funny and sarcastic $2 greeting cards. Not what has basically been made out to be a $20 shirt. I can't believe that they are serious about that being the shirt. I'm glad I was able to see it before deciding to not choose analog. I will be just fine with my $20 ticket service charge/digital membership for the foreseeable future. Yay for choices! Thanks Ten Club!

I hadn't really thought about it like that... but I bet you're right. It's kind of a big FU to the people who were whining... "You wanna whine about your increase? Well wait'll you see your new shirt!":lol: Kinda mean.
Definitely will be interesting to see what Tim has to say on this week's radio show... I don't listen so someone keep us updated.

Exactly.... it would have made a somewhat funny sticker that they threw in with the 45 single... but a $20 joke shirt that no one is gonna want to wear. Your friends thought you were a Pearl Jam nerd BEFORE.... wait'll you show up to the bar in that new shirt. :)

I actually quite like the design, I'm not into the merch where the logo is really big or plastered all over the goods (would have preferred blk T with white print though)

So are the ladies T shirts "lady shaped", like the Tiger T in the Goods and their tour shirts - the picture posted looks like its the "man design" if you know what I mean?

Well it would be kinda pointless and a slap in the face to those who did upgrade to anal log, as I'm sure the ones whinging about the increase probably didn't upgrade. And by the sounds of most of the posts by those who did and got the shirt, they don't seem to happy that they did spend the extra, so it kinda back fired. But I doubt that it was made as a slap. Someone down at ten club probably think it's cool.

Be interesting to see or know if it effects the the number of analog members who renew, or if it sees an increase of digital members upgrading to analog. I think most might right this off as maybe a one off bad move, but if the shirt next year is as exually as ugly or disliked I think it will probably see a decrease of analog members.

What a ridiculous shirt. For those who are desperate to make excuses for 10C by saying it's a slap in the face to those who complained about the price hike and package changes, wouldn't it have been better to create an awesome design for the shirt? Something that makes those who shelled out the extra cash happy they did so and those who didn't wish that they had? Wouldn't that have made sense from a business and customer satisfaction standpoint? Oh well, don't let my logic interfere with your cult-like behaviour.

It's nice and simple and I really like it
  • The question that still hasn't been answered...

    How does it fit?

Big, small, true to size with other 100% cotton T's?

I renew this month, even though the shirt is weak, I'll still get one. It isn't THAT horrible. I've seen plenty worse...ever been to a NASCAR race?!

And the bar has been lowered even further. Now PJ is being compared with NASCAR. I thought the Bon Jovi comparisons were as low as it could get. Well played.

Didn't really mean to compare to NASCAR, but some, ok most, of the shirts you see being worn and sold at those races make the Analog shirt look like a designer t-shirt!

I would say its big- more closer to "true to size". Usually the shirts run a bit small- so I ordered a way bigger size (also expecting some shrinkage once washed). Its too big. This will be a sleep shirt for me.

Do they EVER make sense from a business and customer perspective? They promise things they don't deliver, they rarely explain themselves or address their customers, their president referred to some of us as assholes, they treat news like it's the CIA, they actually ask for credit card info through emails....i could go on. What business gets away with acting like this?? Even with that track record, i would never have thought the shirt would be so pathetic and such a bitch slap to people who shelled out an extra $20. At least we are presented with the digital option and it will only cost us $20 a year to buy tickets rather than $40.

As bad as the shirt is, anyone who thinks the price hike is bad is crazy. I don't like the shirt but will still be analog until the day I die. The shirt and vinyl still make it worth it to me. The good news is, fture shirts can't be worse.

    Nice.

I too will be analog still, because it's worth it for the 45... it's kind of a collectible. It would cost you at least $20 if you tried to buy one on ebay most of the time.

Still can't believe that shirt... I feel like even if you did throw it on and wear it to a show, everyone you walk past would probably just laugh at you, say "You're actually WEARING that?", or give you a wedgie.

From a business/customer perspective, you would think customers who were this dissatisfied would walk away and not renew.

  • Thread is about THE SHIRT. (haha typo'd "the shit" at first) Its not about the price hike. They could have justified the hike with the "physical items" value alone. THEY partly sold the analog tier by adding the shirt. It is literally the simplest turd they could produce.

Would have been 10,000 times better to just have a forum contest to decide it! So many better artists here then whoever is turning out this shit.
