I'm getting mixed reviews. A lot of people are saying MSG I was better but MSG II had the sicker setlist. I'm leaning toward MSG II. PLEASE ADVISE!

    I was at both shows, had row 20 10c seats both night. In front of Mike night 1 and dead center night 2. I have to go the score cards on this one with the split decision going to night 1. I think the crowd was a little better night one and the setlists were a draw. Very tough call though.

    If you're looking to buy boots, I'd have to say both. They were really different from each other. There were a few repeat songs but not very many. For me, they were both too good to choose one over another.

    I actually thought night one had a better setlist and was better overall.

    Here's my analysis in the other thread (BTW, night 1 won in the poll)

    PROS Night 1:
    * Crowd better
    * Indifference/All along wt in GREAT 3rd encore
    * Love Reign over me
    * Spin/PT/Faithful/WhoUR as solid group of "minor rarities"

    PROS Night 2:
    * Release opener beats H2I
    * Not major but Rearviewmirror beats Porch as a 1st encore closer, and Go beats DTE too
    * SOLAT/Rats/I'm Open also a solid group of "rarities"

    So I'd have to go with Night 1 on the power of the crowd and having a multi-song 3rd encore (THAT WAS CRAZY!). As for the setlist, I think you can make an argument for both.
    Jones Beach II (2000), Holmdel (2003), Camden 1, East Rutherford II, Gorge I, Gorge II (2006), MSG I, Boston II (2008), Spectrum II, Spectrum III, Spectrum IV (2009), MSG I, MSG II (2010), Prague (2012), Philly I (2013), Philly I, Philly II, Fenway I (2016), Fenway I (2018), MSG (2022)

    I didn't go to night one BUT I don't know how the crowd could have been any louder then Night 2. They had to have been at least equal.

    I was at both nights, seats only 4 apart from the night before and HANDS DOWN night 2, for the simple fact that they sounded so much better. Awesome songs both nights, but for energy and sound, I'm all for Night 2!

    Was row 30 on the floor both nights. Just about dead center on Night 1, and in front of Mike on Night 2.

    From what I could tell, the floor was a rocking and shaking a hell of a lot more on Night 1.

    I can't see being 25-30 feet closer to the edge of the floor on night 2 making that much difference of the floor shaking.

    I also was at both shows and I would have to say that MSG 1 wins by the crowd but 2 was great too.

    If you were lucky enough to be in the right stairwell you got a great rendition of Black. That was great to all who were there.

    Also just a shout out to Patrick in Germany and Steve and Becki in London. Hope to see you guys again.

    Peace
