  I made my grandmother an apron when I was about 8 or 9 years old, just by tracing one of hers, and then sewed it, and I made a shirt when I was in Jr. High School, which came out horrible... :roll:

  I made a dress once from a whole load of thrift store bits and pieces ... I ended up looking like 70's era Anne Wilson (Heart singer) ... it was 1988!

  Nope, not worth it I have a bunch of friends who I see waste money (IMO) on these so called labels
  the amount of money that people are willing to part with just to have a piece of clothing that has a person's name on it is beyond me
  I understand having a few more expensive designer things, like a nice coat, shoes, a bag or something. But not a whole wardrobe
