to the "lucky ones" - any tips- PLEASE!!!

i've only gotten tix thru 10c twice in over 8 attempts. should i just keep on hitting the lil tix icon cuz when i hit refresh it goes to the previous page. any help is truly appreciated...thx in advance

    yup, keep a clickin on the tix icon because refresh won't do anything. a rapid fire click of the tickets link is what I did up until the very instant they went up. gotta have a fast connection, too.

    oh i will, but i was lookin for actual tips on what exactly to be clicking on as opposed to refreshin and havin to go back to the goods page then onto tix. thx tho

    you have to have a fast connection. Once it gets to like a min before the sale, click on 'tickets' repeatedly until you see the icon. Click the icon as quickly as you can, and if the buy button comes up, click it as quickly as possible. if not, then keep clicking the icon even if it says Temp. Out of Stock, because many times the buy button appears again.

    use firefox

    pearl jams site is set up in frames so

    in firefox, right click in the center frame, go to 'this frame'>'show only this frame'

    instead of clicking refresh, keep clicking on the ticket icon

    remember 'temp out of stock' doesn't mean sold out.....keep clicking until it say 'out of stock'

    oh and a fast internet connection helps too :)

    you don't ever have to hit refresh to go back to the goods page. just go to the goods page (already logged in) and keep hitting the tickets icon on the left. At no point do you need to refresh. And use Firefox. Never use Internet Explorer.

    For me the key has been logging in early (and refreshing often so you don't get logged out) and using multiple browsers. And not just multiple instances of IE, but Firefox and Opera for the PC and Safari and Firefox for the Mac. A fast connection definitely helps as well.

    did anyone click the buy box and then get to a page that, again, says that the tix are temporarlily out of stock?

    Does anyone know a way to get rid of the computer popup that says "This page contains both secure and nonsecure items. Would you like to display the nonsecure items now? Yes/No"
    Every time I try to buy tickets, that message slows me down. Any way around this? Is there some setting I can just click to always display the nonsecure items?

    Most everyone has said the only tricks and they all comprise about 2% for the method of securing tix. The other 98% is dumb luck!

    Hey all, I'm getting into practice mode for tomorrow. I just did a run through and as I'm clicking on "tickets" in the goods section it doesn't even say 'out of stock'... just keeps showing the bootlegs icon.
    Is this normal at this point when it is completely sold out?

    hot refresh for 3 hours prior so you have cookies set and your browser crashes
