I had a dream once - around the time of the Chicago 09 shows - that I went and my truck got broken into while my girl and I were at the show. The show was killer, of course. Well, after we got out and saw that someone had smashed my window, I quickly noticed that someone had stolen my CD player (does anyone do that anymore? ) and then the guy was actually standing on the curb, right noext to my truck, trying to sell it to people - including me! That's when I woke up.

Haha...ask my wife if I dream about Pearl Jam. I talk in my sleep about Pearl Jam (true story).

We joke that I'm like Kevin Bacon on that Xfinity (cable TV) commercial, where Kevin Bacon is dressed up to not look like Kevin Bacon and he's real obsessed with Kevin Bacon though and he says "my wife says if I liked Kevin Bacon any more, I might actually turn into Kevin Bacon (*fingers crossed*)." Yeah, that's kind of like me with PJ/EV. Haha.

So my latest dream is that we (meaning just about everyone here/PJ fans/10c members etc) are all at an outdoor festival in the country and I'm pretty sure its PJ20 and its nighttime and we're all waiting for the show to start, but there are 2 stages on opposite ends of this field and no one knows which stage they're playing at. People are getting restless waiting for them to start playing and so someone starts singing "Porch" (with the slow intro) and then before you know it, everyone is singing...

Whoa...now that I've typed that out, I guess that's a pretty good metaphor for what's going on with all the PJ20 speculation!

In 2007 I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease, which is the same disease that Mike has suffered from for the past twenty years or so. When I was diagnosed my doctor told me I had gone undiagnosed for around two years and needed surgery immediately. I don't really know if it was a dream or not, and I suppose it wasn't a dream in the literal sense of the meaning, but when I was put under anesthetics for my surgery I had a dream that I was eating pizza with Mike and Eddie and Boom at Niagara Falls. I'm not sure why we didn't invite Stone and Jeff and Matt but for some reason it was just the four of us. I told them that I couldn't eat pizza because of my disease and Mike told me he made me a special pizza that wouldn't make me sick that he learned how to make when he first became sick.

I asked my doctor a few weeks after the surgery if it was normal for anesthesia to cause strange dreams and he said yes. Of all the things I could have dreamed about during my surgery I'm very thankful I dreamed of eating pizza with Mike.

I haven't dreamt this yet. well does daydreaming count? Anyway I am on an Amtrack train going almost cross-country but not quite. We're on our way to Illinois traveling west from New York. This is where Pearl Jam's Festival is taking place in a nice green grass field of sorts (with some reserved seating up front naturally). The lineup on day one is Strokes, The Black Keys, The Beastie Boys (for variety), and then our wonderful headliners of course. On the train with me is my beautiful wife and two kids. I've decided to make it a family trip as every year around this time we do our anniversary trip. We got married on August 29th as you know. Gonna be a great trip. A little bit for dad, a little bit for dad+mom, and a little bit for our lil kiddies! So we're on the train while eating dinner in the dining car, and realising that 'train food' is just so horrific that both my children are holding their noses. Literally and seriously. Pinching their lil noses while eating. I got what I think is chicken with peas, and I believe my kids are eating spaghetti and meatballs. But we get through it and go over the brochures on what to do in Illinois. We've never been! I could take the kids to Six Flags, or Raging Rivers water park - that would be cool. Hey there's this one advertising a place called Woodstock, IL. But nah, that would only makes us think of Woodstock, NY which isn't all that. Wrong festival, too. Ok we've decided to not decide. Figure it out when we get to the hotel. Shit we're here! Next day is Day One of PJ20 Festival. I get dropped off and pick up my 10C tickets at the gate. Wouldn't you know it: 3rd row baby! I meet up with some friends, and get a beer while The Stokes begin to strum as the sun begins to sizzle. Am I dreaming?

worst dream ever. and yes i do dream about pj waaaaaay more than i should. its actually mental how much i dream about them, how old am i? oh ya.
so i had a dream the other night that i was in NZ or somewhere seeing and EV solo show. it was after the show and because the venue was so small ed could not smoke in there, so i se him outside smoking. i went up to get an autograph and he signed it, but he looked pissed off at me. it turned out i cut everyone in line and he told me, "hey buddie, you just cut everyone". then i woke up. wtf, i felt bad even when i woke up.

I had a dream where the band and I where just sitting at a middle school lunch table making peanut butter and avocado sandwiches. Nancy Grace was the cafeteria supervisor and my ex girlfirends mother was the lunch lady. Dave and Eddie were sitting next to each other. Stone and Jeff were mad at me because I said I wanted a peanut butter and jelly sandwich instead. Mike was walking around the room by himself not talking to anyone.

I had this dream a few nights ago. I was driving my car going to a PJ show maybe PJ20 i dont know. And my car brakes down im in the middle of nowhere :x . And im just sitting there for hours waiting for someone to come along. And then in the long distance i see a bus coming towards me. And im standing there waving my arms trying to get it to stop. And it does so i run up to the door and ask the bus driver for some help. Turns out its PJs tour bus i told them what happened. So they give me a ride to the show, front row seats, and i got to hang out with PEARL JAM
