We followed the same formula we did for other collections, and it worked really well. It's just quite upsetting reflecting on those times and hearing music with deep significance. That is correct, probably an early morning release for Europe, and an Late night Thursday - Midnight release for the East Coast (US).

The funny thing about this song is that, according to the show, it is totally different in mood and atmosphere. You've got 'rock-ish' light years, 'energetic' light years, even 'laid back' light years and 'softer', more intimate light years, like Prague's and Lisbon's. Katowice 2's is rather intense, all the opposite from Paris', where, as often, there's a slight lack of commitment.
This being said, I do agree that Prague's Light years works best and has the right mood for that compilation.

I've listened to this version many times since you suggested it and I think it's great for this.

That's great to know, thanks, especially since I think it was you who suggested the original one we had wasn't it? It's hard making decisions about this song, for many reasons. Out of the 7 or 8 versions I listened to I preferred Prague because it was quite soft, and clear, yet also quite intense, with a flawless vocal from Ed in lots of ways.
